Feels soft to touch, but too thin for winter.
I bought this for my 3 year old son as a winter outerwear. However, it is really more for cool autumn or springtime days/evenings as it is too thin for winter. My son is Autistic and he does like the feel of this on his skin and often touches his face to it, so on that side, it is a thumbs up. All in all, it is a very nice hoodie and as long as you're not expecting it to be a full on winter top then I would recommend it highly. My son is also a little on the small size, so this top is a little long in the arm but I would expect it would fit an average sized 3 year olds.

Sizing is wrong, run very small!
Way to small but didn’t want the hassle of returning it as it ripped when my brother was putting it on. Would recommend buying a few sizes up
