Good piece of kit. Looks neat and works well. My only criticism is same as other reviewers, the LED is way too bright for use at bedside as I am using it. The phone tells you it’s charging when you put it on, so don’t send the need for it to stay on. I solved it by using a piece of black electrical tape so it blanks it completely. Job done.

I purchased this as I recently replaced a Galaxy S5 after dropping it, with a Galaxy S7 (Grade B, no accessories), and knew that it supported wireless charging. It's stylish, and it works. I've also used Anker products in the past.Although it does charge a bit slower charging directly with a wall plug. I also purchased Anker's 18W USB fast wall charger to accompany this, and I think that is important with this. I've seen some people state that this is not a fast charger, or that it doesn't support fast charge...but the actual wall charger/plug is as important as the wireless charger.To get a "fast charge", you also need a fast charger/plug for something such as a Galaxy S5/6/7/8/9/10. A normal 5v 2.3/2.4a wall plug won't be sufficient--I tried it just for curiosity's sake with old/official 5v 2.3a Samsung plug. It seems that it's also picky about USB cables (more on that).As I'm typing, there's 61% battery.Directly into the charger: 40mins until full charge.With wireless charger: 48mins until full charge.I don't know if this is normal, to be expected, or not.I guess if it is, you then have to decide whether the tradeoff is worth it. Speed versus convenience. It is definitely nice to just pick up my phone if I need to quickly, without having to plug or unplug it. There have been numerous times where someone has called my mobile while it's charging via cable, and I've needed to go into another room with it. I also went with this stand over a pad, because with Always On Display (AOD), my phone can act as a clock. It's also easy to just check notifications while charging--it's at just the right viewing angle.Back to the cable. I'd say that 3ft is a little on the short side. I have an IKEA Micke desk which stands at around 2.46ft tall. So you're stuck with exactly where you might be able to place this charger. It would've been nice to be provided with a longer cable.Trying to use your own can bit hit and miss. I tried using my longer Xbox One controller USB cable, which when I plugged it in, my phone displayed "charging wirelessly" rather than "fast charging wirelessly" as it does with the provided cable. So that wasn't an option. I tried a cable by Polaroid that I picked up from a local supermarket, and did have luck with that...but again, only around 3ft. So I guess I'm stuck.Despite a few things, which maybe could be argued is me being nitpicky. I'm overall happy with this wireless charger. I would recommend it.

Needed something for the desk and the quality of this is really good. It works very well and was good value for money. Quick at charging.
