In a world brimming with cheaply made junk, what a pleasure it was to receive a quality product, beautifully packaged, install it in my home, and find that it works perfectly! The directions are clear and well illustrated. No plumbers tape or putty or anything like that required. No tools needed either. The hefty, ergonomic brass nut and silicon gaskets make this a very easy install.

It's really well-made. Easy to install without tools or plumbers putty. In service, it does not restrict the ID of the drain at all (at least for the no-overflow version). The drain plug has a filter basket built-in that can be easily removed and cleaned, and there would be no problem running a snake down the drain should the need arise.

My mother had an old fashioned sink stopper that was too hard to use. This is simple and easy and now we don’t have to hear about her harrowing experiences with closing the drain.

Ordered two for the two sinks in my RV bathrooms. Really easy to install and they look great. Hopefully the finish will last on these.

I love the look of this drain. Its actually about twice as big as a "normal" drain cap. To plug the sink all you have to do is push the drain down and then push it again so it will pop up and drain. Installation was a breeze and everything fit as it should. the oil bronzed finish looked awesome with my other fixtures in the bathroom. so pleased! I got most of the other accessories from amazon too and reviewed each item. If you want to do something similar as what we did, check out my other reviews.

This pop up drain assembly is AWESOME!!! Right from opening the box you can tell this is a first class product. The packaging is excellent, with plenty of rigid foam to both protect and support the assembly. The unit itself is in a rugged but soft bag and the pop up is protected with a form fitting plastic cap. Add a strong outer box and you have a package that looks great and protects the product, an A+ in my book! When you pull the assembly from the bag it's a plumbers dream in both design and build, I almost hated to hide it in the vanity cabinet! Everything you need to perform a putty, tape or silicone free installation is included. The materials used and tight tolerances made installation a breeze. From the box to completion took less than 5 minutes. It took longer to remove the old assembly than it did to install the new one.The pop up function worked flawlessly and removal to clean the basket and reinstall worked perfectly. I have to applaud the design and quality of the build, and if I had to describe the assembly in one word it would be, "PERFECTION".The reason I changed out the existing assembly was continual clogging and slow drainage. The larger size of the opening, flange, pipe and pop up keep everything flowing, even with both faucets wide open. The only thing I would say to prospective buyers is the pop up assembly is quite large, but it also completely covers the flange that goes through the sink and moves large volumes of water effortlessly.Personally I can't say enough good about this product in my review. It is in fact a thing of beauty and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality replacement drain assembly for their bathroom sink, you will absolutely not be disappointed!!!

I bought a brushed gold faucet and drain set for my new powder room for a wall mounted sink, but when the plumber came he said he couldn't install that included drain because the threads didn't go all the way up and so he couldn't get a tight enough seal. So, I searched on Amazon for a replacement gold drain/estucheon that could fit the "thin" sink. From peering at photos, he agreed it looked like this one would work and voila! this one came and the plumber was able to finish installing the sink without additional fuss. The threads do, in fact, go all the way up for to tightly fit to any thickness sink.I will say the actual gold drain stopper is quite large (much larger than a normal drain stopper (or whatever it's called) so if that's going to bother you, you should measure. I'm just happy to have a sink without a hole to the floor.
