Others have written that sheet smells bad when unpackaged - they are correct. I washed it once and the smell was 95% gone. 2nd wash-no more smell. 15" fits the matress fine but without a centimeter to spare. Soft feel. Bright white. Elastic corners seem sturdy. Elastic sewn right in, not like the elastic that slips in some sheets that have elastic run around the entire sheet in a hem. So far so good. I like the sheet.

This sheet was bought to replace an over-sized fitted sheet that came in a set. Most of the sheet sets available fit mattress up to 18 inches, my mattress is 11 inches, which presented quite a problem. A 15 inch fitted sheet was what I needed, just try finding one.It was nice to find the correct size, better yet, organic fitted sheet without having to purchase a set. The elastic around the entire sheet really helps to keep the sheet in place. The sheet seemed larger than expected, and I was fearful that it would not fit smoothly on the mattress. However after washing, it shrank, and now fits. I love it, and hope that there's no further shrinkage.

I added a three inch memory foam topper to an existing nine inch thick traditional mattress. On top of that I added a quilted cotton mattress pad. The organic cotton fitted sheet was a perfect fit on top of those layers, so I am very happy with the fit. I would not call this sheet super soft, but it may soften up after numerous washings. It's soft, but not silky soft. All in all, I think the sheet was priced fairly and the delivery was quick, even though I did not pay for expedited shipping.

My previously bought organic sheets are thin and the bottom/fitted sheets have worn through and torn. I am glad to find this organic fitted sheet that you can buy separately rather than buy a whole new set. It blends well with my top sheets and pillowcases which are still fine. The color is a little softer than it appears in the picture and the quality is thicker and seems more durable than my old ones. It felt slightly rough out of the package, and as mentioned in other reviews had a weird smell. I soaked it an hour or two and put it through one wash and the smell was completely gone and any roughness in texture had also gone, so it is very comfortable to sleep on. The pocket depth is perfect for my 12-13in. mattress and the elastic goes all the way around for a snug fit. Recommend.Update over one year later - it has washed and worn well and still very happy with this product. Plan to buy more from this company.

I have a low profile Lull mattress, only ten inches thick. For TWO years I've shopped and tried sheets from Martha Stewart to Tommy Hilfiger, Cynthia Rowley, Pottery Barn...just to name a few. I was so tired of super expensive sheet sets, drowning in extra pillowcases, and sleeping on a loose, baggy sheet that doesn't feel good or look good. This sheet fits PERFECTLY. It's taut and super soft with sturdy elastic. It seemed a bit on the thin side until it was on the bed with the mattress protector. It's fantastic. It does come smelling something awful like others said and the packaging isn't fancy, but the smell disappeared in the wash and I'm about to buy another one right now.

As many reviewers commented, the sheet had a very unpleasant smell when the package was opened. Therefore, the one-star mark off in the overall rating. And as other reviewers suggested, a few washings and some time out in the sun remedied that problem.The sheet is more than ample to fit our queen mattress with no need to exert pulling force to get the last corner on the mattress. Bravo!Would DEFINITELY recommend this product.

These sheets are the first ones I have had that d not pull up at the sides or edges. I have a California King matress and any fitted sheets I bought in the past came up on all sides. These sheets have deep sides an pockets and fit extremely well--even with a matress topper. Also, I did NOT notice a "smell" that was mentioned in some other reviews. After one washing, they smelled absolutely fine.

This is my second Whisper organic product and I couldn’t be happier. The sheet is so soft and the queen fits perfectly. The “new smell” that others had mentioned came out completely with my initial wash.

They are soft. They fit great on my memory foam mattress, most others are way to big. Some mention the smellwhen you first get them. I liked it.....something very earthy about it but it did disappear after washing. Will see how longthey last.
