Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.Maximum Fixture ThicknessThe maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 2-1/2" to 3". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1" will be met.Fixture Hole DiameterThe hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 1/4" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/16".Spacing between AnchorsEach anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 4" from each other when measured center to center.Edge DistanceIt is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 3" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

How to use the confast anchor screws
The media could not be loaded. The only problem was the supplied bit.

Well made, strong
Sunk these about 3" into concrete, worked well. No problems stripping or deformed heads.

Buy a quality masonry 3/16ths bit.
The product itself was not bad. However, I rated it 3 stars because the drill bit was slightly larger than my 3/16ths Bosch hammer drill bit which caused almost all of my first pilot holes to instantly strip out. Once I switched to my Bosch drill bit everyone of them grabbed and counter sunk into my wood. TL:DR - fix the drill bit and your product would be just as amazing as all other brands and a better value too.

Don't hold with provided bit, threads strip out on the screw
The screw threads strip out when using provided drill bit (3/16"). These screws don't hold. Other brand screws of the same size work for the same process and application with a 3/16" bit. Went out and bought another brand and they worked perfectly.
