Monoprice 107165 3.5mm Stereo Plug to 6.35mm Stereo Jack Adaptor, Gold Plated

I bought this and another version from Monoprice that had a gold-plated tip but a plastic housing. This appears to be much better built and promises to last much longer. Plugging in several headphones, and comparing it to a similar adaptor from a brick and mortor Electronics store, it worked fine with no wiggle or static. It fit nice and tight in both MP3 players I used in on. We'll have to see how it holds up with continued use.Overall it promises to be a good value, depending on its durability.

All metal version of this adaptor is a good choice if you intend to use it a lot. I have a plastic/metal version and it works, too. The all metal version costs just a little more, and comes from a reliable vendor.

My Sennheiser's are one of the great loves of my life, but when my jack adapter bent one day, I didn't really have the money to replace it with anything too high end. All I knew was to get gold-plated. So when I saw these, I was happy enough to get them, but when they came, I couldn't help but notice that something seemed different. At first I thought I was just crazy, thinking that something cheap couldn't be as good as something more expensive, but the more I listen, the more convinced I become that my music sounds flatter than it used to. The only answer can be this adapter. So while it hasn't fallen apart (at least yet), I would recommend buying something else.

worked perfectly for my headphones, as my headphones had 1/4 inch plugs only. Headphone to this adapter to my game console.

Got here earlier than I expected and worked like a charm. I'm using it to connect my studio headphones to my computer.

About a dollar per week. That's expensive for an adapter. My endless journey for a decent adapter at any price continues. I've paid more at chain stores for adapters that fall out after three or four uses. This is seriously a long standing problem in my opinion. When I was a kid I always complained about headphone jacks failing -walkmans and the like (ipod touch my most recent casualty). Anyway, I don't like this product due to it's failure, but it's common so, meh, so it goes. I didn't mortgage my bean bag chair.

Now able to use my 40 year old vintage headphones with modern devices that no one ever dreamed of in the 70's!

This adapter is visually appealing, and I've been using it for over a year now and I don't get static or anything even if the cord sees a lot of movement.

Nice little piece. Very snug connections, not clunky at all. Using it to adapt to a small headphone amplifier. Perfect size.

Works fine. I have it zap strapped down and have a with a "CableCreation 1.5 Feet 3.5mm Male to Female" cable to avoid putting strain on my subpac.

No connectivity issue, I have been using it for many months now and it works great!
