Wholly Wholesome, Pie Shells, Traditional Two Count
They're still in my freezer Frozen I purchased them for the holidays, I hope they are organic. The value for my money and the egg quality especially if they are organic, very easy to use.

Easy/Good for Non-bakers!
This is a great crust for time savers and non-bakers (i.e. the baking stupid like me who refuse to measure and don't want to mess with dough more than a few times a year). It will work for anything -sweet or savory and even no-bake dishes. It's super easy to handle and tastes quite good.I didn't do any fancy stuff like use a crust guard (don't own any such thing anyway) or use pie weights, but I did blind bake it for 10 minutes at 350. Even if you are making something like a no-bake pie, you will still want to bake your crust a bit. I forgot to prick it with a fork first and it puffed way up but then went back down to normal as it cooled. I made a quiche and fully cooked my vegetables in pan (asparagus, mushrooms, and leeks in some olive oil) prior to adding along with cheeses and egg mixture to the pre-baked crust. This crust is more savory than sweet (<1 g sugar) with clean, simple organic ingredients... just three besides water and salt. That is how it should be... if you read the crust on a grocery store quiche, the crust ingredients are absurd. This is way healthier and only 2/3 the carbs (each crust has 80g carbs). So, if you eat 1/4 or less as a serving and the crust comprises 98% of the carbs in your dish, you could work this into a low-carb and possibly even keto diet.If you are planning to use this the same day you buy it or within 4-5 days... just store it in the fridge. Otherwise, keep it in the freezer and let in thaw before attempting to blind bake it. As you can see from the picture of this quiche, the crust didn't burn even when I blind baked it and then cooked the quiche another 40 or so minutes. So, I recommend this... it is kind of fool proof for most folks.

Deliered unbroken and still frozen.
These are very good pie shells, saying they are sturdy may sound odd however they held up well when thawing and then filling them with fillings for fruit pies. They did not stretch or tear when taking them out of their pie pans before fillling them and baking They also did well with homemade chicken pot pies. They crusts browned on the bottom without burning, no soggy crusts. The edges of the pie crusts was golden, flaky and cooked without burning. We will be ordering more for out home cooked pies.

Wholly Cow Organic Pies !
These pies are organic which I liked and they say that they don't "use" preservatives/additives. They come with two pie shells stacked on top of one another with a plastic case on the top. One thing is it can get a little messy (do it over the sink or have something under it to catch the crumbs) or your just cosplaying as Hansel & Gretel. I made chicken pot pie with these shells and they turned out quite nice. The pie shells cooked nicely and had a slight salt taste. One thing is they came really cracked which looked like a cherry bomb went off inside the crust but I give Amazon the benefit of the doubt and maybe the delivery person mistakenly put something on top of it and crushed it. I didn't ask for a refund or anything I just ate it since I didn't really mind it and it's all going down the pipe the same way haha...

Organic Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crusts w/ Good Texture & Flavor For My Swiss Cheese Pies
I needed deep dish pie crusts to make Swiss Cheese pies (similar to quiche). I was happy to see these frozen pie crusts are deep. These are organic wheat crusts with a good flavor and were perfect for my use. I baked the crusts about 10 minutes before adding my filling. I thought I was being smart by poking holes in the bottom, but the crust was still too frozen and I cracked the bottom on one. Luckily, it was an easy repair as I just dabbed a bit of water on the crack and pinched it back together. The crust has a thick rim with a good texture and didn’t burn around the edges or get a soggy bottom. I’ll definitely repurchase. 5 stars.

tastes good but falls apart
I am happy this pie crust is organic and it tastes good but falls apart sometimes before cooking. And even after cooking, it is impossible to have a nice piece; it falls apart and the toppings become a mess. It tastes good but it is not something you can use for your guests.PLUS: It can be used for both savory and sweet pies.

My go to frozen pie shell. Brush a little oil on the bottom before filling and these are crispy and delicious!
