I don't usually write reviews but I have to on this product. It's not high tech or flashy but it really blew my hair back and produced a genuine WOW!. I travel overseas regularly, often with fairly large sums of cash and valuables. While many places offer in room safes, etc, many of them are not quite up to spec...like either being flimsy, attached poorly of not attached to anything, allowing a motivated person to just walk off with the entire safe. This little product is SOLID. Handling it is like handling a brick of steel though it only weighs in at about 3 pounds (for mu model). It comes with a cable that allows attachment to any stable, fixed object and would likely stand up to one hell of a beating. Also when travelling with it I am confident it's not going to be opened by snooping TSA or baggage handlers without my knowledge and likely presence. For what it is, I think it would be a good deal at twice the price. So I can recommend it completely without reservation. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Easy setup for combination and use of security cable.Just the right size for my application. Good quality material, ideal weight as well.

TSA carry on Travel.I was kind of surprised no one has said anything about this. It's a nice sturdy box for travel. I need to store valuables when going through security check points overseas. The one problem is the provided lock can't be opened by TSA. I didn't see this addressed in any comments as far as a "carry on" goes. I believe I fixed that issue. I bought a 2.5 inch pin (63.5mm) at a hardware store which is long enough, a 2-in is not. I had to bore a hole in the pin at the top using a drill and a 5/32 drill bit making it a "clevis pin." The small TSA approved locks I used are .15 mm (5/32"). So that fit in the cleavage pin hole I made. The Amazon safe already has pre-drilled holes on the bottom side which provided me a place for my pin. I took a 1/4 inch drill bit (6.35 mm) and bored that hole larger and continued through to the other side. There are two and a half inch clevis pins for sale at 5/8 inch diameter . The hole in the safe would still need to be drilled and possibly the pin itself for the correct size of your TSA lock. Hopefully this will work for security and you. I don't need to bother now with the provided lock. If TSA removes my lock, the other will be left accessible.

This Portable Security Lock is a solid option for keeping my personal valuables safe wheneverI am travelling or at home. The quality is good and the steel cable adds and extra layer ofsecurity when it is anchored on fix objects. I place my passport, small electronics like phonesand some cash. The lock mechanism works but not that great and can be a little stiff at times. Ithought the interior had a bit more padding so that I can place my delicate items. To small andthe number pad doesnt turn well.

This thing is practically a steal at this price (pun intended). While it won’t stop a determined thief, it’s good for securing valuables temporarily. It fits perfectly under the seat of my motorcycle. Keeps the Bandidos from stealing my pistola while I’m in the saloon.

Perfect for storing handgun in vehicle. Very well padded. Easy to set up and start using. I also bought an extra one for a granddaughter going to college this fall. Great for dorm rooms.

Standard lock box for car, love the tether to tie to my seats to try and make it harder. Perfect for when I'm camping but need to take documents or leave something important in the car when heading into a building. Worked just perfectly and sits snugly under my seat.

I was shocked how good this box is. Stiff, heavy steel, good hinge, hefty latch, nothing too cheap. The only drawback is the three-rotor lock which can be picked by feel fairly easily. However, how many amateur parking lot theives are going to stand around fiddling with a locked box when the next car over doesn't have one?Whoever laid this box out obviously had a 1911 with iron sights, because it's a perfect glove fit. All of my compacts fit in it as well, even the double stack M&P 2.0 in .45 ACP. Even a Beretta 92 or 96 FS full frame and two spares will fit in this thing if you arrange 'em right.Eventually I'll get the XXL for my pistols with red dots. For the iron sight units this safe is perfect.
