OPT7 CREE xMount LED Pod Pair (2 Pcs - 18w Fog Light Work Lamp Spot Light for Off-Road ATV Utility Truck SUV)

I bought these as backup/work lights for my Ford F250. Given that they have a narrow spot beam configuration, their coverage is a bit limited, but still major improvement over the stock lights. The rubber grommets that provide water protection for the power cable were loose and would not stay in the body. That was fixed with some silicone sealant. Past that the quality seems good. The mounting bolts don't come with nyloc nuts, so make sure you have Loctite.A curious aside. The ad shows these lights sitting atop a spiffy OPT7 logoed box. When they arrived they were in your basic plain generic Chinese box. Not a deal breaker, just an amusing aside.

I purchased the 2 x-mount LED spotlights with the opt7 wiring harness as well as the 10 inch spot/flood light bar. I was slightly worried about quality after reading a few bad reviews but so far I'm impressed. My experience with these lights has been interesting since one of the two spots was doa. I promptly submitted a request for exchange. The reply from opt7 was to send the bad light back (free shipping) and once they received and processed the return they would send me a replacement. I followed their instructions and prepared to wait patiently for my replacement. Five weeks later as I was just beginning to get irritated I found a package on my porch that contained a my entire original order! 2 spots a 10 inch bar and wiring harness! I now had 5 lights and 2 harnesses. I'm happy to report all 5 lights are working very well and (living in rural Kansas) have withstood several severe thunderstorms. So far I've had them for six months with no leaks and no problems beyond the one I had to return initially. My brother is an electrician and together we installed the 3 spotlights on the first switch with the 2 light bars on the second. We decided to run outdoor rated wires from the the lights to an outdoor rated waterproof box. We then connected to the opt7 wiring harnesses to the those wires inside the waterproof box and ran the switches into the cab of my jeep. I'm sure this attention to detail has contributed to the lights working reliably for six months in very, aggressively wet conditions. The lights are obviously made in China and lack a certain fanatical attention to detail. For the price, the quality is great and they really are very bright with a long throw. I would buy more of them if I didn't have more than I actually need.

These lights look great and are bright, came with electrical connectors and mounting hardware. Only downside was the bolts that hold the light to the mounts on one of the two lights would not go in all the way which kept the light from being sturdily attached to the mount. I was able to make some "customizations" to get it to work but would really like to have had it correct out of the box.

This product comes with no installation instructions or wiring diagram. If you are not familiar with wiring and testing either learn and find someone who is. Light arrived on time and in protective packaging. I purchased their wire harness and I recommend that you do the same becaue it ia good quality. I mounted these on my YFZ and used the existing headlight swith to activate. Because of this I did not use all of the harness, but I was able to utilize parts of it. The lights work great and they are bright. They flood well, but the throw is not much further than the 60w H6M bulb installed in the headlight housing. With that being said it is a flood/work light so it performs the way it was designed to. Good quality construction and solid mounts. Overall this a good product and much less in price in comparison Rigid which don't seem to be much better.

I bought these for the outside of the 30 inch OPT7 light bar on my dump truck witch is just awesome also, these are great lights the best I have found, the competition brands are junk knock offs don't be fooled I have bought many they are not the same! When I first got them I thought these little things wont do anything, I was wrong, they wowed me, I am going to have them on all my rigs even for back up lights on service truck and dump truck. Make sure you lock tight the main bolt to the bracket it will rattle loose they are shipped put together but not tightened for adjustment purposes. The wiring harness is top quality all the way, It was long enough to do the job on my dump truck with no problems. Yep 5 stars!

Purchased two of these lights and they are great. Not as bright as I anticipated from reading other reviews however they do the job. After a month though, one of the lights started condensing water and sitting inside the glass. Unsure to say exactly when this happened but these are suppose to be waterproof up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The truck has not been underwater so the Texas humidity must have seeped in. Highly suggest getting the 4 year warranty. My mistake

I've been debating a light bar for a Polaris side by side. In the meantime, I wanted something smaller that would give a lot of extra light when driving at night. These fit the bill perfectly. The lights arrived well packaged and are a really nice set of lights and it's easy to adjust the light on the mounting bracket for that perfect angle. I ordered them with the included harness, which was equally impressive. Running the wiring and connecting everything was a breeze, even with using a 5 pin rocker toggle versus the included toggle switch. They are very bright given their size and I am pleased. I have only had them for 2 months, but I don't forsee any problems.

Quality is good and price is right but they are not very bright.
