I bought a much cheaper headlight that was battery powered... it was OK, but would use a pair of batteries on four hours or so... This one is rechargeable and lasts for up to eight hours on one charge.... The light is really bright and a terrific aid when working in the depths of a car engine.... easy to use and a quality product. Recommended.

Bought this one to replace one I thought I had lost, luckily the old one turned up so now I have 2 which means one is always fully charged. The only problem I have had with these is the head band losing elasticity after a couple of years, but Unilite replaced the band free of charge.

Nice and bright however battery life not as long as was hoping for!

Unlike the previous comments on this item. I found it to be simple to use. It works using a cycle setting. So if you leave it on one setting for three seconds it turns off. Rather than having to cycle through all the settings to switch it off. Manual is quite clear on this, and nothing worse than having to press something loads of times to turn it off...Right! Anyway pros:1. this thing is super light2. More than enough light for such a compact head torch3. Rubberised head bands means it stays in place and doesn’t slip down my face like some other brands4 usb charging has saved me loads of batteries. Runtime is also impressive for its size.5 comes with a cool carry pouch to store it and a 3m adhesive mount for my rock climbing helmet. So I can wear it without headband strap.Cons:-Only one issue I have is the USB cable could be longer. It’s quite short but as it’s micro I have spares already.For the price this thing is a great lamp with a good waterproof rating IPX5 👍🏻

Nice lite head torch with a powerful light which lasts for ages. The light beam can be a bit narrow in some circumstances but on the flip side does provide a good spot light if that's what your after. It can be a bit awkward to switch on/off if wearing gloves or have big fingers, otherwise would have been 5 stars

Unintuitive controls. Instructions inaccurate and misleading.To go from bright white to a different level requires switching off and cycling through, if the light has been on for more than a couple of seconds it just switches off at the next press, rather than cycling to the next level. Not the end of the world but annoying and unnecessary. Bright light, good spread, there us much better out there but this is OK for the money. I wouldn't buy another one though.

Had one before and it lasted 3 years of constant use (I mainly work nights on the railways) and its the best headtorch I've had in years. My old one finally gave up so I've just bought another. 10/10 decent beam, plenty of light and lasts all night 👌👍
