Solid mount - easy one hand placement
This has worked out perfectly for me. I've had it now for about 3 months and it has been great. I love the fact that I can put my phone in with one hand - it clicks right into place and is secure for my drive. Would recommend this one to anyone.

holds the iPhone 6 Plus with very thin case, but not stable
Works well enough if you are just looking for something to hold your phone on the windshield. It is too shaky to use it for windshield video. The plastic is a bit flimsy. I'm looking to see how long it lasts before breaking. Phone snaps in and out easily but I have a very thin case on my iPhone 6 plus. If the case were any thicker, it would be a problem as it barely fits.

It only opens to about 3"
The description says it holds phones up to 3.5" wide. It only opens to about 3". It will just hold an iPhone 6 plus--if it doesn't have a case.Even though I tightened all the nuts as much as I could, while driving there's a fair amount of vibration which makes it hard to read the screen.However, the one-touch mechanism seems like it would work well on a smaller phone.
