I use this to connect an Arturia Keystep to an Apple phone charging adaptor that is plugged into a very simple power strip, all on my pedalboard. There is no issue with humming or otherwise adding unwanted noise in my pedalboard sysytem. This is crucial to note! I insist on a signal path, cables, and power system that eliminates 100% of the unwanted noise. This product does not compromise on that one bit. After getting this great coiled and angled cable, I replaced my MIDI cable I used for decades with a coiled cord as well. The coil here is not a gimmick but a legitimate product advantage. There is no reason to go spend four times as much at Guitar center, unless you need help planning which direction your angle will go or if you have the correct cord and even then you might get a sales rep who is clueless or who will give you the same advice no matter if you buy this elsewhere or not.

I recently purchase a standing desk with charging ports on the front. Need a right angle on the USB A side so the cable would extend downwards. Now I can charge my headphones and use the hook on my desk without the cable getting in the way.
