Venice Womens' Silky Looking Embroidered Nightgown 06N

When u are a big girl it is very hard to buy clothing that makes u feel good about yourself.I now have 10 of these gowns. They are pretty and feminine. Yes they are very airy and see through but that is what it says in the description. I certainly didn't think I was ordering a flannel granny gown. Beautiful colors, nice lacy accents and very nice fabric. One of the few times I have been truly thrilled with an online clothing purchase.

Bought this for my wife as just a surprise gift, and it was a hit. At 5'7" and 115 lbs, the small fit perfectly. She's very slender. She loves the silky feel of the thin fabric (and so do I) which has enough transparency to keep things interesting, especially when backlit, but veils her body just the right amount for a sexy lady maintaining a girlish figure in her sixties. The design is simple, but pretty with its lacy trim. The wine color is very tasteful shade. She likes sleeping in this gown, as well as wearing around the house. It has become her favorite nightwear. A bit of affordable luxury.

This nightgown is not only sexy but, flowy and super comfortable. The material is soft and silky. It has such a great feel on the skin and body. The lace pattern around the next is elegantly cheeky. You feel fantastically gorgeous wearing this after a nice hot bubble bath. I am absolutely love with it and will be ordering more in different colors.

I bought a few of these several years ago and LOVE them, but I've gained some weight & needed to replace mine with bigger sizes. I am 40DDD in the bust, and the XL fits perfect (I used to be a LG). The arm pit doesn't come up too high, but the rest of the gown isn't huge, it fits great. I live in South FL, & our nights can get pretty hot. This is thin enough to be worn even during the summer, but it is a bit see through so if that bothers you, then you'll need a robe. I'm not certain that this is the same vendor that I bought from before, but I'd know that lace front anywhere, this is the same gown. Mine washed & dried well, didn't shrink or untangle- they still looked brand new when I gifted them to a smaller girlfriend. I'm hoping this will be the same, but I'll update my review if there is any changes from my old gowns.I will be buying more, but the only thing I wish is that they would get more colors/patterns. My favorite gown was a lovely light yellow with red rosebuds on it. I wish this seller had that pattern!

This nightgown ripped at the shoulder straps the first time I wore it. I took it out of the package, put it on, and sat in bed reading and watching TV. I went into the bathroom and noticed something odd - the shoulder straps didn’t look right. I examined more closely and saw they had come apart! See photos. This is an obviously cheaply made, inferior product and I will be returning.

This is my new favorite nightgown. I had a few I've worn for at least 20 years in this general style and it was time to retire them. The straps were literally falling apart. I don't know that this nightgown is going to last 20 years like the old ones, but I'll sure buy more of them for the next 20 years if not.I bought the burgundy color and it's not see-through other than silhouetting my shape if I have a light behind me. I would imagine lighter colors would be though. It's beyond comfortable, can't even tell it's on me. It's thin and doesn't cling to me or ball up under me when I sleep (and I'm a mover when I sleep...) and I don't wake up sweating from the material. I'm a large girl and the way it hangs hides most of my big belly while still accentuating the good curves.

Yes, this is sheer, but it says so in the description, as well as the numerous reviews warning of it, so I was okay with that going in. It's pretty, cool and billowy with just enough slink, but because of the single layer sheer fabric, you may want to accessorize with a bra and panty, unless you plan on showing off. One thing I love about this is the 40" length. I'm just over six feet and it comes down to around my mid to lower thigh. I'd like it to come down to around my knees, but it is a lot better than similar items with 36-38" lengths. If you're average height it should be more than long enough. For the price, this is a great option and I look forward to picking up some of the other styles and colors.

Nice nightgown. Washed well. Sheer and pretty. 5'3" 136 lbs. I got the red Medium. A Little big, but fit good for sleeping. The husband approved. The only thing keeping it from the 5th star, is that the shipping (fast shipping!) should had been free. It wasn't all quite worth the total price. Overall happy with it. If they would opt for free ship, I'd buy more of them.
