Too thin, need to reapply often.
This smells good and the taste is pleasant and acceptable. It is thin, however, and I need to reapply quite often. I will not be reordering this.

bouquet in a tin
This is an AWESOME product. I work at a popular beauty chain with an enticing employee discount, and still go to Bath and Body works to pay full price for this particular balm. Here's why you might want to buy it:1. Smells like roses and has a sweet taste when you breathe in with it on.2. Can be used for any dry spots you might have, rather than just lips like other balms.3. CUTE packaging--very classic.4. Makes lips silky smooth, especially if you wear overnight and exfoliate every two weeks.5. Thin enough that it isn't goopy, but thick enough that it has some substance when applied. Isn't sticky. Here's why you might NOT want to buy it:1. The tin seals very well, but it can definitely melt out of the tin, if it's exposed to high heat (I left one in a car and it leaked everywhere).2. If you don't like the smell of roses, you won't like this product.3. It's in a tin, so you'll have to apply it with fingers. This isn't so bad, since it can be spread on dry elbows or what have you, but it can get messy, if you're just using it for your lips. Also, bacteria. They make other balms in a tube, so check those out, if you're looking for a similar product with less mess, although many of those are stickier.Generally speaking, this balm keeps my lips feeling and smelling fabulous. If you're on the fence, try it (but maybe visit a Bath and Body Works...Amazon's price is a little steep, as of 11/1/15).

A solution to those who want this in a lip balm tube
Would be 5 stars if they offered this in a lip balm tube as well. The tin cans don’t work for regular use as a lip balm. Too difficult to open/close, have to apply with my fingers, and it melts all inside my purse in the summer. For now, I package these in lip balm tubes myself. Here’s how for those wanting to do the same: Buy some empty lip balm tube containers and a very small funnel. You’ll then need to melt the rose salve into liquid form by either letting it sit out in the sun (if it’s hot enough outside) or running a hair dryer over it for ~5 minutes. Make sure to take the lid off the tin can first though so it doesn’t spill everywhere when opening. Also, if you are using a hair dryer, use the slowest speed setting. If it’s on high speed, it will splash the melted salve everywhere. Make sure salve is completely liquified all the way through to the bottom.Carefully pour into tubes with a small enough funnel. Don’t pour all of the salve in the funnel at once because you’ll probably need to switch to another tube halfway through. I got four 8ml tubes from two tins.If the salve has solidified too much in the tube to squeeze out when you are ready to use, hold the tube in a closed fist for a minute to soften it up a little. Hope this helps others who are as picky as me!

Yummy!
I love this product, have been using it for years. Container can be a little hard to open sometimes, but other than that it is a great product. Love the taste!😊

This is the only product that truly keeps your lips hydrated. It is perfection!
I collect these lip balms. They are the only product that truly keeps your lips hydrated, or rehydrates your lips if they dry out and get cracked. I used to purchase these at Bath and Body Works, but after seeing them on Amazon, I decided to start getting them from there because of the convenience. I literally have about 5 of these floating around, that's how much I rely on this product. I have been using this product for probably over 5-years now and I've never been disappointed. I'm happy the packaging was improved over the years whereby the lid comes off more easily (early versions, the lid was so tight, you had to use a rubber glove to get the lid off). The one thing you have to understand about this product, is since it's a wax/oil, it will melt in hot temperatures, don't leave it in the car in the summer or you'll have oil leaked all over (I learned this the hard way). The product itself is perfection.
