These lights really tied the room together 😎
The media could not be loaded. **All links at the bottom of this review** (9-25-2020)I flat out love these lights. They are the centerpiece to a remodel I did for my oldest's bedroom for his 13th birthday. I've had very bad luck with previous LEDs self adhesion and they always seem to either fall down or tear paint off the walls. For this project I decided to use little clips (links below) to securely fasten the LEDs to the wall and it turned out great. My son's room looks fantastic and all his buddies are jealous and saving money to pick up these awesome lights.Pros:1. The LEDs I used in the past had to all be the same color, so you can fade between colors, but all LEDs were exactly the same. These LEDs are individually addressable so you can get multiple colors at different sections that "chase" each one other around the room.2. These are 12v LED so the voltage drop off has less of an impact on longer runs vs 5v lights3. IP 65 water resistant - even though these lights are indoors and not exposed to moisture, I love the idea that the electronics are encased in plastic. Since I purchased these for my child, it gives me peace of mind.4. The app that controls these lights works great. It has a bunch of preset lighting effects that are super cool (especially for teens). You can also control the brightness and speed of the effects. Since we installed a Nebula projector these lights are actually too bright. In the video I have the brightness turned down to about 20-25%.5. Customer freaking service! I sent 1/2 dozen emails with questions on how to best configure the lights to fit my purpose and they were very helpful and very responsive. I inquired about a power supply with a longer cord so I could run my raceway the "pretty way" and although they did not have one, they sent me a link for an extension(link below). It now passes the wife test and everyone is happy ;)Cons:1. Even though these are 12v, they still require a power cord for every two strips. If you install more than two strips, you need to plan in advance where you will plug in the strips. I installed almost 100 feet so 6 strips (purchased 3 two packs). This requires me to plug in these lights in 3 different spots. The power cords look awful hanging down the wall. I picked up some raceways (link below) and painted them the wall color and they look great.2. Strip connections where power is not required are unsightly. I installed my lights in series so the "chase" effect goes around the entire room. To accomplished this I have:Controller not connected to power1x 16 foot LED stripPower cord2x 16 foot stripsPower cord2x 16 foot stripsPower cord1x 16 foot LED stripThe power cords are hidden in raceways, but where you connect the two strips together there are 3-4 inches of connection cords. I cut a small piece of raceway to hide the cords and you can barely tell they are there. If you are more electronically inclined, I think you can splice these sections together; I simply was not brave enough :)3. This is one more thing for my kid to leave turned on when we leave the house! hahaAll in all this was a 5 star purchase and I am thrilled with the result. There is not a whole lot to get excited about in these trying times, but seeing the joy on my childs face from his new remodel was priceless. The lights have only been up a couple of weeks but I will report back if things go south.Clips for LED lights (I used the screw clips, NOT adhesive ones):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VBY4FN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1LED power supply extension cords:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2BM9L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Raceways:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPFDL1K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Nubila Projector:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8R5PK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good stuff. Some clarification to help you:
Between the product summary then the description, I thought I'd clarify for those of you looking at this setup because, at the time of this writing, some things are confusing or conflicting between the summary and the description which was also hard to read due of all the emojis or icons and a small bit of language barrier. (No knock there. I'm very envious of folks who can speak and understand more than one language.)Right now the summary says 32.8ft/10m. Those are not the same. What you get is 2 ws2811 strips that each are 16.4ft and 30 LEDs per meter. That's 600 LEDs per strip so 1200 LEDs total. You do not need to buy any other connectors or do any splicing whether you are connecting one strip after the other or putting the power in the middle. They have all the cables ready for you to plug in. However if you put the power first then connect both LED strips, one after the other, you will see about 3/4 down the last strip that full bright white starts to lose it's whiteness. That's expected for this setup. All you need to do, without buying more equipment, is lower brightness or do not choose white or, the best idea, use the provided splitter to put the power in the middle of the two cables.WS2811 has one chip per 3 RGB LEDs. This is bright and looks great. If you have the motion happening even at a medium speed, you cannot tell that 3 bulbs are changing at the same time. The strip has a sticky back but it doesn't say "3M". It may be fine though. It also comes with some additional stick clips that do appear to have 3M sticky pads. I've not stuck mine to anything yet so I can't help you there. The only thing I wish was better is maybe a change to the controller. Since this is bluetooth and the controller does not require a password, anyone with the software can control the LEDs. Sure, bluetooth has limited range but your neighbors can see the sp110e controller on their bluetooth list and go look it up, eventually finding the software and having some fun. I'm kind of picky where I don't want that possibility. Also, all controllers and LEDs pull power even when turned off. You may want to think of a way to cut the power entirely to the DC plug.Overall I learned a lot about LEDs and controllers starting with this one. It will go in my son's room and he'll like it. The next setup I purchase will have a music controller and will go in my daughter's room as she cares about music, he does not.

Easy install and bright
Nice and bright and can also be dimmed which is a plus. 120 color combo and light chasing sequences to keep you occupied while the stay home is slowing you down. One of the two strips flickers. Not terrible but enough to notice. Have arranged for a replacement.Look around the internet before you purchase here. I have seen the same set advertised for $28.00 and a couple bucks to ship, but still.........Update: 6/18The directions say they can take a bit of spray on lights. They are correct. They have gotten rained on and still run ok. However,,the plug in control module allowing smart phone control does not like any moisture. Some rain splash got into it and the lights went crazy. Flashed on and off and ran all the light patterns on it's on. I had to unplug the power supply to stop them.Fortunately they offer a $10.00 replacement module. Wife fashioned a tupper ware box into a splash guard. Tucked the module and power supply into it.Resolved! Lights back in action around the counter in the outdoor kitchen.

Very good
Great kit for the money. Good app with lots of controls, easy setup. The LED Chasing effects could be a little smoother. Nothing wrong with it. I only sat that because I used to have another kit made by TORCHSTAR, and the "breathing/pulsating" effect on the Torchstar (setting #1 on this kit) was much smoother/more seamless than this one. Just a minor gripe. Great kit overall, though. I'm happy with it.

Good quality, great price, great app
Great LED lights, controlled by phone, the app is super easy, my 12 year old is super impressed. My son has a very small room, one pack almost covered the entire room, the only spot it didn’t cover was the closet so it works.
