20kg Ultra ProRapid RS Grey porcelain tile adhesive

Tiling outdoor porcelain tiles, job unfinished as yet.

I normally buy ready mix adhesive when tiling (DIY only I'm not trade) but during lockdown I couldn't get any. So I took a chance on this. The readimix stuff I used was useless anyway and failed to cure so much that I had to lift some floor tiles (800mm x 200mm so no small feat) and reaffix with this stuff.It mixes easily (in small batches) by hand ... with a stick. Take your time but hurry up. Water first then pour in enough compound to get it started then add as required. It is a quick dry so only mix as much as you can use in an hour, max. For me that was about 500ml water to whatever amount of compound I was putting in. Yes it's DIY and I was working on 'feel'. Make the mix a thick, smooth creamy consistency so it doesn't 'slump' when you lay it.Lay some tiles. 500ml water mix was about my limit, for that size tile it will only lay a couple given a decent bed on an acceptably flat floor. It sets up pretty quickly but I was doing my best to not walk on the latest set tiles for a couple of days.I've had no problems with tiles moving after setting as I did with the readimix stuff and after grouting the job looks very smart.I used the OGORI tile levelling system as well to help the job along. Cracking system but horrible to tread on in your bare feet.

Perfect easy to mix goes on easy dry in 30 minutes! Perfect ! Delivery came quicker than time quoted so super happy.
