Mapei Keracaulk U Unsanded Caulk (Bone) - 10.5-oz

For 30+ years you could buy this type of caulk at Home Depot or Lowe's. But no longer.... This Acrylic Latex caulk WITH silicone makes for easy application and water clean up. Now you can only buy 100% silicone caulk at the local big box stores, which is anything BUT easy to apply and clean up. 100% silicone caulk makes a sticky, gloopy mess that requires a special solvent to smooth out and clean up. This is a far better product for a homeowner or experienced tradesman to use!

Quick and easy to use, and a perfect color match.

After applying the caulking (bone) to end the kitchen backsplash tile job, my initial thought was the color was close to the grout used with satisfaction in purchase. However, as time went on with complete drying of the caulking, there was approximately 50 percent shrinkage requiring another application. For the price paid for the product, there should be little shrinkage.

I used to have to go a long distance to get this for repairs. This came right to my door. Gotta love it.

I was unable to find this product at Floor Décor. This a quality latex caulk which is just as good as the 3M or GE brands but Mapei is available in more colors. The problem is that the caulk inside doesn't always match the description or the grout color. If you're willing to accept a possible color deviation, like I did, your caulking project should turn out fine.

This is a great product. Matches MAPEI grout, resists mold, and lasts longer than most caulking. We used this product in a shower.
