I made a salve for mosquito repellent for a camping trip. Using tallow I rendered down from one of our sheep after slaughtering. Used citronella and a few other essential oils and some medicinal properties using grapefruit seed extract. The salve worked like a champ and these were PERFECT for pocket size keeping and made it feasible to carry the anti-mosquito lotion anywhere we wandered through the forests of Yosemite. Will be buying more of these in the future!

These are great and can be re used

Nice durable containers. They're a bit hard to pry open, but if you twist while holding both sides and rock the lid back and forth it will open.

These are small, which was great for a homemade lip scrub, but the lids don't come off very easily so it made it awkward. I had to use something else to pry it open at times.

I purchased 30 of these and I'm very happy with them. Closing and opening them is not a problem. I just keep dry spices in them and they work great. I have not used liquids so I cannot attest to the "rusting" issue. Some people claim that they are impossible to open back up, but I find that it's quite easy once you get the hang of it. They are airtight and could be used to hermetically seal anything. Great product. I just wish they came in a slightly smaller size.

I ordered these small metal containers to use for a burn salve I was making. These are the perfect size to carry in my purse or even a pocket. I love this size since I often make a new salve whenever I need one (and can customize the recipe) so I only make a small amount. They would be great for lip balm also. They are also easy to clean, so I can reuse them many times.

Nice size for body butter samples but not easily opened

These containers are tiny. You can barely fit dimes in them.
