These are delicious and I have been addicted for decades. Unfortunately, they are “Mangelware” in the US, hence the elevated price. (I think they are half the price in Switzerland, but since we can not travel...). They were fresh: the chocolate didn’t have that white sheen of dried chocolate, there was pistachio marzipan inside. I haven’t been able to find the dark chocolate ones (these were milk), but these will work when you have “cravings”.

Love the taste of these being a marzipan lover. BUT, they are getting to be way to expensive. Also, I miss the hazelnut that they used to put in the centers. Still tasty, but for me, special occasions only.

First time trying because of youtube cutlery lover channel review. All I can say is "some like it" . Mother demolished the box and she was welcome to it.

Product was old and stale. The dark chocolate ones were almost white; dried out.

Yes it is delicious, worth the price, and makes a good gift.

I highly recommend these for flavor and authenticity, but I had to take off one star from a full five star rating due to the absorbent price for 10 small pieces of candy. At the price they're maybe worth it as a treat very occasionally but knowing the much lower price I pay for the same thing in Europe, the US price here is hard to swallow (unlike the delicious product itself!)

I bought these for my husband for our anniversary. He's from Bavaria and they are one of his favorite candies. Normally if you buy them out here, they are old and taste dried out. These were fresh and you could even taste the alcohol in them, you can't taste the alcohol in them when they are old. They make a great gift and I will order them again in the future!
