I'm just starting out in backpacking and camping so I need Everything that one needs to go on adventure so I didn't want to invest a ton of money on any one item. I did a lot of research and this company ( gold armour) and this hammock kept coming up. The price was right. The reviews and ratings were all great. And it has a15 year warranty. Plus there was an option for purple *bonus!!!*.My hammock came yesterday evening. Today I w the out in the woods behind my house found a couple trees and set this hammock (along with big net purchase separate) and was relaxing (and kinda hiding from my kids...hehe) in less than 5 minutes. It is super quick and easy I did it all by myself which is important to me. I cannot really comment on disability.. as I've only been laying here just about an hour.. but it seems to be a good quality hammock. It's pretty comfy. Think I might have earned a nap (after a month of homeschooling 😉🤪).I'm pretty tall for a woman.. I'm 5'10" and I have plenty of left room and head space. The description says the hammock will hold 500#... I'll have to take their word for it. I thought the description said this was a double for 2 people .. it's not very wide so I do not believe that another person would comfortably fit in here... Unless we were literally stacked on top of each other...I thought this was an asymmetrical hammock where you would lay at diagonal.. but it's really not I'm slightly at an angle but not much. At this point I would say that it doesn't matter because I am comfortable. I love the color!There only thing I would like to have seen on it if the bug net came with the hammock and was attached. Other than that I really think this is a great product. I'm happy. May revisit after if slept in a couple times

This hammock is the double. It was plenty roomy, as seen in the photos I've added, to put your mat sideways and sit viewing out from the horizontal position or at an angle. Both positions give you a lot of room. I used a caraboner clip to attach my canteen bag and a stuff sack to the line through my bug net sleeve. I was able to keep plenty of things next to me (a book, an arm rest pillow, a travel neck pillow, a drinking canteen, and moist towlettes) and have room to move around. I recommend adding the bug net. It worked really well to keep comfortable through the night from mosquitos and I climbed in after cooking to eat and avoid the meat bees that come after you for your steak and hamburgers. The material looks quality and I hung the nest pretty high in one trip but climbing in it did not tear or have any quality issues pulling myself in from about 3- 3.5 feet up. Which worried me at first. The material is lightweight and the tripple stitching is great. I was uncertain about the detached bug net style at first but many people complained about bug nets that rip from the seam of an attached hammock and so all things considered this net is roomy durable and optional with the plus of not having to worry about it making the hammock itself overly delicate. The bug net and hammock were both easy to set up and easy to take down. I had no problems getting these back into their stuff sacks and was glad the sacks are attached for convenience. I went with this company because it's hard to find American companies these days. I paid a little more to buy local. I am from sacramento and was glad to not only buy American but San Francisco. These pictures were taken about 2 hours from the bay in Shast Trinity Forest McCloud River and Ellery Creek. It was beautiful and my whole trip was comfortable thanks to my Gold Armour.

This is one of my favorite hammocks! It is so easy to set up and take down without compromising safety. It survived three years in Nicaragua and was only taken out by a cat with a vengeance. It’s the cutest color, warm, and easy to carry.

Got this for Labor Day weekend camping trip. Very easy to set up, the straps are sturdy, the material seems good quality, dries fast (my son got on with a wet swimsuit). My husband and I can lay down on it, and I also sat with both my kids (10 and 13) using it as a swing. It's super sturdy and got a good trial run as both my kids were in for hours, flipping and swinging. Good for 1 person though it does cocoon you a little bit (lay a bit more angular and that helps). Material is light, I had to put a blanket underneath me as it got chilly. I recommend it for lounging, haven't tried sleeping in it. Got the seafoam color, love it but it did get a bit dirty. Haven't tried cleaning it yet so I can't speak to that. It's a great hammock and great price, you won't regret getting one!
