Fulfils its promises, charming toy
My daughter plays frequently with an animatronic cat - Furreal, I think the brand is - which purrs, meows and has some very realistic kneading and play motions. While many 'robotic' toys are anything but - they might perform one limp motion or a sound - some can be very entertaining. The Owleez makes some bold claims - learning, responding and flying - and I admit we were prepared for disappointment. However, it's a lovely toy and very interactive. She makes a series of chirrupy sounds when held, fed with her berry, she will rest in her own provided nest, and then take flight. She acts in a similar manner to the small hand-controlled drones, the ones that go pleasantly up and down but do get caught on the slightest breeze. The owl is a little heavier than those, but she's built to sustain a bit of a crash onto soft furnishings. This is part of the game - she can be comforted before trying again. The children have returned to it even after the initial novelty, which is a good sign!

Brilliant toy
Bought this for my Granddaughter as one of her Christmas present. This is a lovely gift, you have to show effection to this owl to get it to fly, if it's unhappy it won't fly, when it does its amazing. We'll woth buying my Granddaughter is 4 years old, she watched utube to see how to care for the owl. Keep your child entertained.

A cute companion teaching compassion and patience to children
Toys made of synthetic material are robust but do not score well with cuddliness.Yet Owleez is here to prove this perception wrong! I bought it for my grandson who persuaded me to look at the Owleez videos. I was suspicious about its ability to fly as these demos are often not reliable but WRONG AGAIN! Owleez flies about the height of the door and beyond. Above all though Owleez is teaching him to be patient while it is learning to fly (yes, one has to really teach this too!) and compassion when the owl does not want to play or eat but wants to sleep. His mum has asked where was Owleez when she was his age! Only one thing of caution: parents need to explain to kids not to put their hands in the flying mechanism as it is indeed powerful and can hurt. Having said all these, Owleez is no longer a toy. It is a member of the family with special needs like his lovely blue nest for sleeping.

Owleez; worth the money or not?
My daughter had one for christmas. It’s cute and interacts the same way as a Hatchimal so you need a little patience! It’s pretty loud when gearing up to take off. The other thing I would say is it doesn’t seem to stay up in the air that long before descending rapidly to the floor in any given direction. Given it has rotating plastic I’m never sure whether I should put my hands out to catch it - I wouldn’t let my daughter. It’s survived several crash landings however. I wouldn’t say it is worth £50. Happier to pay half price but she is scared of it breaking when it hits the floor so isn’t flying it much..

What a crazy little thing!
Let’s just start with that this thing is absolutely insane’ when it “flies” it comes at you with a purpose and is louder than a Boeing 747! But it is very cute and has provided my daughter with hours of fun, it’s quite time consuming on making it happy but once you remember what colour it’s eyes change to when it needs different things it’s not that hard, my daughter remembered pretty quickly! All in all a great pressie and my daughter loves it!

Great toy
Bought this for my wee girls Xmas she played with it for a While. I can be rather noisy when it's flying and you really do need a lot of space for it. I did find that once my daughter had taught it to fly the novelty wore off pretty quickly

Please do not waste my time.
It was a birthday present, excellent service delivered in time, good tracking service, no complaints . However in my haste to buy this item I ordered in error two of the items by mistake. No matter how hard I tried your return service was impossible to find and activate I then gave up. Why is this service so difficult to find and operate. I gave up after four attempts what a waste of time, I now have a spare for no purpose.
