Great OEM fit at a great price.
A great price due to autoparts stores not having it in stock. OEM replacement but never use any type of adhesive when installing. 2004 Chevy 2500 HD OEM replacement and needs to be change every five years or 50,000 miles.

Why general motors why?
Why do they keep changing fittings or is it just manufacturers mistakes? This is actually larger diameter than the original and I could not for the life of me get it off the back of the engine so I had to pay somebody to pry the old one out and pound this one in.

Did not work for me
Turns out this part isn’t replaceable on my model truck (2005 Silverado w/ 5.3). I believe it would fit, but the original is pressed into the valve cover, and neither I nor my mechanic could remove the old one to put this one in. I ended up replacing the valve cover, which comes with a new PCV valve. On the plus side, Amazon refunded my purchase with no problem, so it was worth a shot.

Nice fitting for Power brake booster hose.
I had never bought one of these before, but got and engine with it missing and this part worked perfectly. It is great to find this sort of hardware online and get my project fixed.

Will not fit 2006 escalade
I was unaware until of course the return window was closed. I just didn't get around to installing it immediately.Apparently on most escalades the PCV valve is built into the drivers side valve cover.Ironically when I went to install it I didn't know this and felt as though I just didn't have time to finish the job so I didn't do it that day. Thankfully I searched on the web to find out an easy way to loosen it before taking it off. And I found out again that it was not removable but just a breather valve that sticks out of the valve cover. So I am extremely lucky that I just didn't have enough time to rip it off that day. Because that's all I would have done is rip it off then this PCV valve wouldn't have fit in the hole.

Wrong part
The part didn't fit a 2002 chevy astro van, too small

No need to replace entire cover if you have the new style
Just like the first review here where it says you can tap it out with a hammer oh, there is a better way to do it that is much simpler but it is still the same end result versus replacing the entire cover. Now you will have to replace it if it's the old style cover but like me I have the new style but for some reason the PCV valve that came on it was bad and I didn't realize it until after the return period expired. Definitely by the new cover if you haven't already, but as far as buying another cover again you don't have to do that just replace it with this one. All I did was put the valve cover on the ground and put a 13in pair of channel lock pliers on it and twisted it and pulled up and it came right out.
