When our normal remote for our TV died I looked for one that could be used with several of our devices. This remote allows you to control up to 8 devices from the same remote. Not bad!The unit comes with a list (albeit very small print) providing the codes for almost every device and manufacturer you can imagine. The best part is, if you have some obscure device that isn't listed this remote provides a mode where you can find the codes for that as well. I also have a T9 Android TV box that wasn't listed. I followed the instructions for unlisted devices and sure enough I was able to set up the remote to work with that as well. This is as close as you can get to being a universal remote as you can get. It doesn't support any macros or linked control features like some of the expensive universal remotes but it does work for everything I tried. It's nice not having to have a half-dozen remotes kicking around at any given time.If you are like me, I like to watch TV with the lights turned way down. Seeing the keys is difficult unless the remote is backlit. Well, this remote has backlit keys and it really does help with seeing them in low light situations. The only downside I can see, is you have a limited amount of time to swap batteries otherwise the remote will "forget" the codes you have programmed in. I see this particularly troublesome if you forget to change the batteries and they die on you. This remote is a star as far as I'm concerned. The price and features make this remote a win-win for me and I would definitely buy this again if I needed it.

My go -to remote!
My dog loves the remote control just as much as we do! He has chewed up 8 of them so far because someone will leave it within reach! Overall, very durable, compatible with smart TV's. light up keys and great value.

Works with LG tv's
This remote works with LG. Review. Solid working remote with all the required buttons needed to operate the LG. Negatives: to many extra non working buttons. TV is sometimes laggy when pressing buttons. Unable to program the colored buttons for your specific apps and unable to program the non working buttons. Setup key is in the middle of the remote so get's pushed accidently easily. Does not light up until a button is actively pushed, no motion sensing backlight activation.UPDATE: After just three weeks the buttons stopped lighting up. This feature was the only reason I even bought the remote in the first place.

Solid remote with good backlit light.
Does the job. Great value. It could have slightly larger numbers, but things are easy to find and intuitively placed.

Works with my setup perfect
I love this remote. It works perfectly with my Hisense TV and Lg surround sound system just hade to find the correct code. My old universal remote didn't work well, if the volume up was pressed the volume went down. This remote is great, everything works as it should and the light isn't to bright or to low.

Backlight stopped working pretty soon after
The remote works fine, the programming was a bit tedious. My biggest issue is I bought it specifically for the backlight and it stopped working shortly after

Does what it is supposed to. Easy to set up. A bear to learn to use correctly!
View my picture - I wrote a few things in there. The bottom line is that you can do everything you want to with this remote. The setup is fairly easy, but it is really, really cumbersome to use until you tweak your way around a bunch of things, The keys are flaky (it's only 10 bucks) so you have to keep pressing keys sometimes, but then that messes up things, and so on. So the key word is PATIENCE. It should eventually do you fine.

My favorite universal remote!
I have three of these and I travel with one (and a Roku box) and I can quickly redo the codes for whatever brand of TV, etc. that I encounter in travels!
