Works as promised.
Granted we use it for Karaoke ar home, but it works great. I thought the boom would be dropping with the weight of our Shure SM48 mics but it holds on pretty good. Not bad for the price.

Nice portable mic stands
These have been really good mic stands for instrument use. They fold down to be very compact and expand to be just as large as any of the full mic stands I have. They are light, so they can get knocked around if you're not careful. What I use them for is to mic instruments and amps. These can reach down low to mic an amp much better than some of my other stands, with the ability to adjust to about any position (good for acoustic guitar as well). Folded down and put in their carry case takes up very little room.

useful, good deal
Even though the mic stand is lightweight and economical, it's sturdy enough to be used in most studio applications. I wouldn't want to throw it in a van for touring, although broken down and stashed in it's little carry bag it could probably survive a lot of hard traveling. The desk mic stand is likewise light duty but perfect for placing a mic in front of a kick drum or small guitar amp in a recording studio. Great value here.

Good cheap mic stand!
It is overall a good stand, and in a sitting position when I'm playing the guitar, it is great! I liked this cause I am fairly tall (6'3") and it could go pretty high with the boom arm.As could probably be understood, it's not very sturdy in this position (and I've watched it topple over with my Shure SM57 on it at least twice when I had my back turned - Thank God I have a soft carpet and that SM57s could fall onto a hard stage, and still work!). But...i made it work great by putting a 3 pound dumbbell on the back end of the tripod, and I haven't had a problem since! But when I get money for a more pricey mic, I'm definitely changing the stand...

Great value for the money
More stable than the studio mic stand I've used. Holds a Shure SM58 even when extended no problem. Included clips come in handy. Very light and stable for the money. Packs away nicely in the case. I may not lug my heavy duty one around anymore even for large venues.

Cheap, flimsy and wrong parts.
I DO NOT recommend this product. I bought two stands and one came with the wrong parts so I had to return it. The other one, the zipper didn't work on the carrying case. They are so lightweight, they tip over easily if you even slightly extend the boom. Nearly unusable but I needed them for a presentation so I had to just use the one that actually had the right parts. DO NOT but these if you are looking for a quality mic stand. Very disappointed. They call them "heavy duty"? I don't think so. I would rate 0 stars if it were an option.

Is as expected
It's a mic stand that holds a mic. It works... no issues
