There was a time when you had a vehicle and purchased one of these books you would know how to fix pretty much anything on the vehicle. Now with all the engine and tranission options and the different models these books are a good read for just general knowledge on your car; it shows fluid capacity and maintence info it's just very broad, you can find most the most specific information to your vehicle in the owners manual.

I've used Haynes manuals for years and this one is no different. This will give you most pertinent information specific to your vehicle. You will need a basic understanding of mechanics using these manuals. It will not teach you how to work on vehicles if you've never turned a wrench before. These are more of a guideline and give you the accurate specs and procedures for your make/model.
