Start-X Plug N Play Remote Starter Kit for Toyota 4Runner 2010-2019 / Key Start Engine

Easy install. Only difficult part was at the end, when you snug all the cables/wires back into place to put the bottom steering wheel back in place. After numerous attempts and pushing everything in its place, the cover fit in place. Car starts after 3rd push on the lock button. Works on my spare key as well (note: spare key is not factory, its a programmed car key copy).

just put this in my 11 4runner trail. works great, the install and programming were easy once I had the covers off the underdash and wheel. that said the videos linked in the instruction for getting into the dash are very quick and skip some steps. you would be better off watching some of the many other videos on youtube explaining how to get the covers off. once the covers are off its like 5 minutes to plug in and program, then a few more to figure out how you want to zip tie the control box inside the dash and secure your wires. I have a trailer brake controller in there too, but there was still plenty of room. most of your install time will be spent getting the covers on and off.

This remote starter is the best thing since sliced bread! I love it and use it all the time. After church while I am chatting with my church family, my car is warming up and I never have to step outside to start it. Installation was very simple and no wires or anything to cut, just pull and play. Love it!

Simple to install and works perfectly!

Super simple to install. Had issues with programming (my fault) but customer service answered my email very quickly and got my problem resolved. I use this now on a regular basis and it's well worth the money - even has an anti-theft feature that turns it off after so much time.

This is a great product. I have a 2019 4Runner TRD off road with keyed ignition. The only think I didn’t like about this vehicle is that I was getting into a cold car. I hate that. This product is easy to install, and works great. The hardest part was getting my hands in the tie up the wires to keep them out of the way as I finished. Otherwise, super easy to install. It took me about 45 minutes. I highly recommend this product.

I recently installed this remote starter on my 2014 4Runner. I was initially hesitant as many reviews stated that this kit required splicing into the Lock Wire, however the product has been updated and no longer requires this. I installed the product in approximately 25 minutes and works as expected. The installation video could be improved by making the total process more instructive by showing and talking through the entire process. The video has several cuts which leaves out what the installer is doing in between making the new connections with the remote starter. Overall, I am happy with the product and would recommend.

Minimal tools, time and effort to have this installed, programmed and tested. I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s been great, especially for the price, well worth it.
