Unbranded, so no guarantee it is accurate
Markings are good & it is solid metal which is also good. So 3 stars given for this.However there are no brand markings on the product, so have to take it on faith that the measurements are accurate. Faith based measurement is not ideal. I only ordered as needed ASAP owing to the plastic gauge I had being broken by painter. This was available for same day delivery. If I had the luxury of time I would not have ordered this product and would have sought a branded product. I chose this one as it was recommended by Amazon - not sure how Amazon chooses its recommendations, but doubt they check the quality of the product.
