Fast Data and Cloning of SSD Drives
Adaptor allows me to clone SSD using usb c port. Only useful for SSD or low power 2.5in drives as power is supplied via adaptor, not suitable for 3.5in drives

They work just fine the only problem is the length of the cable is only 6 inches it's to short and the cable is to stiff.

Worked as expected, seems well built and allows file transfers within the ballpark I expected for such a device.

Decent enough product when it works
Based on looks alone this item would be top class. It is stylish, feels robust and well finished.The problem is it doesn't always work. On many occasions it triggers a message along the lines of Windows does not recognise the USB device. Unplugging and plugging in may sort this but sometimes a reboot of Windows is required. It does not work at all with some drives, although to be fair that is likely down to those drives having a high power draw.Windows freezes on boot when this adapter is attached.These issues are possibly with Windows rather than the device itself but my previous USB to SATA adapter did not have these problems.When it is working transfer rates seem fast and stable.
