I am still using the pooper scooper after a few years. It has held up well and is still doing the job. It is strong, so be careful on those cheapo lite plastic kitty litter boxes or you will damage the litter boxes. But it gets into corners well and does a good job. How I clean it is I have a small bucket outside that I put water in with some lysol and drop it in. The next day I get it out and spray it down with the hose. Yes, the metal does discolor and it is ugly. But it is not made to win beauty pageants. It is a star for hat it is supposed to do.

Folks, I just saw the biggest kitty litter scooper, HUGE, believe me, nobody’s ever seen one like this, maybe the biggest ever made, some say it could scoop up entire states. It’s tremendous for cleaning; nobody cleans like me, ask anyone, they say, ‘Sir, how do you scoop so efficiently?’ well it’s because I pick the best tools, the best! If Sleepy Joe had a scooper like this, maybe he could have cleaned up his mess... but he doesn’t, he uses a tiny, pathetic one, very sad!

It seems like such a no-brainer.For years I've used plastic litter scoops, and they seem to make them out of brittle plastic, so that the second time you use one it cracks somewhere and then you spend the next half-decade gingerly trying to avoid worsening the crack, knowing that if you replaced it the replacement would suffer the same fate.And then I found a recommendation for this scoop in a Reddit discussion, and I couldn't agree more. This is a good, durable, easy to use scoop. The holes/slats are a bit larger than I'm used to, but quite effective in sifting out what needs sifting out.

I have now purchased 2 of these scoops for my house and I love them as much as one can love a poop scooper. They have a big area so you're making fewer swipes. Nice and sturdy and I just feel like metal is more sanitary than plastic. Sometimes I cheat and carry one of these into another room with a plastic scoop by the box because it really is superior. Definitely a good purchase.

I’m not one to write ‘glowing’ reviews on things I’ve purchased, especially a pooper scooper for cats. However, I’ll make an exception cfor this one. I’ve used many many different types of configurations of litter scoopers. They’re either cheap plastic, or metal scoop with a handle of another material, and always the waste sticks to it. This one however is my absolute favorite! It’s all metal, the scooper is well polished so it doesn’t get crusted over by waste sticking to it , and the handle is a bit longer. It’s able to withstand the extra pressure I put on it to scrape the bottom and being one solid piece, it isn’t going to break or bend either. This thing is a winner.

Was so excited to finally get to purchase this litter scoop holder. Afterall, it wasn't a cheapy pooper scooper! Loved that it had a stainless outer shield, reliable cup, could accommodate larger scoops and could be hung on litterbox or wall. But...had a few unexpected glitches. I'm hoping it's a fluke, but mine arrived with small scratches across the stainless steel and the black plastic cup has popped out of the stainless cover. Can't get it to stay together. Also the heavier duty litter scoop is a pretty tight fit. Wouldn't be an issue if the black cup stayed in the holder but annoying to have to keep picking it up and putting it back together. I wouldn't discourage anyone from getting one and trying it out. I'm going to keep mine but with little less expectations.

I've had 2 of these for over 5 years (!) and they're both still going strong with 2 litter boxes for 4 cats. On of the rubber grips on one of them started to break up and became uncomfortable to push under the litter, so I ordered a quality ergonomic bicycle handlebar grip and slid it right over the handle and it's actually BETTER than new. You'll have to cut the original rubber handle off with a utility knife first -very east to do- but it's worth it. If you're sick of using crappy scoops that break all the time, buy this one. 5 stars A+++

Love this scooper. It’s heavy duty and the litter contents don’t get stuck to it like they do the plastic scoops.
