Used for different weight exercises

I don't generally write reviews. I was unsure about ordering myself as it didn't have many reviews! The product works great. Don't get me wrong, it's fairly no-frills, but so far it seems well made. I consider myself to be a fairly advanced lifter with 10 years (with some gaps) of lifting under my belt. This kit is perfect to allow me the movement patterns I miss when I'm just using dumbbells and barbells during Covid lock-down. Great for high and low pulling movements, Cable flyes (one arm) and lateral raises. I was sceptical, but very happy so far. I also bought some attachments from another seller. The only real negative is the straight bar provided is fixed, so don't rotate with your hands' movement, when performing an exercise, but that's not a huge deal, at this price at least.I'm pleased with my purchase

1. Firstly, a lot of the reviews here seem to be for a different product design, none of the customer photos are as per the current product image which is what I received. So maybe take those older reviews with a pinch of salt.2. I had very limited space, and limited height to mount this, so for me it fits my needs. There are better solutions for a bit more money if you have more room.3. I was very unsure as to what height to mount this, the instructions simply don't mention it. In the end my position was mostly driven by my limited wall height.4. Depending on how high you decided to mount it, you will either need to sit on the floor, or sit on a small stool etc to get the ideal height. This also coincides with the limited travel you will get from the cables. The weight very quickly hits its maximum height. The end stops are plastic, so you will need to be careful or it really does slam into the end stop.5. I can't comment on the longevity of the welds. As an engineering designer they look fairly typical for the box section size but only time will tell. Another review I saw here looks very worrying where the welds had clearly been poorly applied and completely failed. Some very simple changes could have been employed to make this fail safe.6. I'm actually the most concerned about the wall bolts.... they seemed to take far too many turns before they really engaged, even though I drilled the smallest hole in the brick I could get away with. The remaining engagement seems too short, but again time will tell, it's currently holding solid.... I may replace them if there's any sign of movement in the future.7. Finally the positive.... I have been using this successfully despite all the above concerns. It operates smoothly, and mostly quiet unless you slam it into the end stops. The nuts used were mostly nylock so no torque problems which was nice to see. The paint finish is good quality, and the accessories are basic but functional. I've bought some other hand holds which can be used no problem with the carabiners.

Dangerously bad item. Upon fixing to the wall, the main brackets came away from the frame as the weld failed. Imagine this happening midway through a heavy lift. This could cause a serious injury. Terrible product DO NOT BUY.

This got delivered quickly and all parts wrapped and pre set with bolts. You cannot stand as in the diagram you need to be seated so mine is behind my Olympic bench. So it’s a little low for me at 6.2” but I can get away leaning back a little. You can’t sit with your back against it as overhang is too short. Sitting towards it I need to sit wide enough to get clearance for my knees. I would say kneeling in front of it would work best.So for the price it’s not heavy duty but would do the job in terms of medium fitness training.
