DingoMen's Dean Boot

I loved them the minute I put them on.
These are great boots. My feet are small but wide so it's hard for me to find a pair that fit. Usually they either scrunch my toes painfully or make me look like I'm wearing flippers. Not these. Not only do they look great but they're as comfortable as a pair of slippers. Good quality too. I will buy another pair.

Eight years and still going strong!
I've had these for 8 years now, wear them most days, (on and off my motorcycles) and while they are quite broken-in they look barely worn. The uppers are smooth and un-cracked, and even the soles and heels show little wear. I have several pairs of motorcycle boots--and the Dingos are my go-tos for short rides. The leather uppers are a bit thinner and probably less protective than my more serious boots; but I love that they are lightweight, unlined, and that the soles are non slip. And I love the roomy, rounded toes.I did cut off the silly "harness" straps and the goofy metal O-rings. Now they look clean and simple--like a pair of classic Frye campus boots (another riding boot I own.)The Dingos are also fine for car driving, and are even good to stand in for a couple of hours at a time. (I'm a saxophonist, and I play my gigs standing up: surprisingly, these are the most comfortable shoes I have for standing still in. No idea why. Not great for long walks, though: again, I don't know why.)Everyone's feet are different, and comfort experiences will surely vary. But there is no denying these boots are durable!

Love the boot. Unfortunately my left boot fits loose. The right boot for is somewhat snug but the left boot is too too loose. Had high hopes but gonna have to return and go to a store that sell these Harness Boots.

I used these nearly daily on a working ranch for over a year now.
It's been over a year now that I have used these nearly every day to tromp around in mud, dust, brambles, thistle, bamboo, black berries, and a whole bunch of other shi... stuff. They are 100 percent still functional but not nearly as purty as they once were. That right there says a whole lot about the quality of these kickers. For years I rocked a pair of size 12 Frye billy boots as my daily kicks. I always had the leather sole and they always lasted about 9 months before they were too ridden with holes to wear anymore. That is strictly city slicking it mind you. I returned to work my family ranch over a year ago and although Frye boots are extremely comforatable for my particular foot shape they are not a boot that would last out in the wild.I needed a pair of boots that would take some serious use (some might call abuse) and still protect my feet. I also needed these boots to cost significantly less than the high faluting foot wear my feet are accustomed to wearing. I was not gonna drop 300 plus on a pair of boots I figured would be tattered inside of 3 months.I needed boots that had a more resilient sole than leather but were constructed of leather everywhere else. I didn't want some stupid looking square toe because my feet are not that of a ducks. I decided that the boots should also incorporate a harness on them because why not? After a while searching on amazon for good cowboy boots I found these Dingo harness boots for under a bill. I liked the look of them, they met my requirements, and I think Dingos are cool so I got them in size 12 regular. I was not expecting these boots to be as great as they are. I wasn't expecting them to be half as well constructed as they are nor was I expecting them to be made from such high quality materials as they are. I Certainly did not foresee these boots as being as durable as they are. They have stopped every puncturous item I have stumbled on before it reached my foot. On more than one occasion they have deflected a misguided axe or machete ricochet. They have stomped out fires and wadded through creeks and have only responded with a clear "pshhht what else you got?"The only gripe I have about them is that the shaft circumstance is a tad wide for my liking. Boot cut jeans will fit over them fine but anything on the slim or skinny side is gonna look pretty stupid trying to go over them. These boots are now classified as tools in my book.I use the hell out of my tools. These boots have far exceeded my expectations in every way shape and form.

Sized Down
Quality seems great, look great. Insole doesn’t seem to be removable, so I wasn’t able to put my own after market cushion in there, with that said, there isn’t enough room to add one, and is a bit hard when wearing regular socks. It’s cold now so I am wearing LL Bean wool socks, and comfort is fine with them. I did size down from my usual 8 1/2 size to an 8 because of other reviews, and glad I did. I have ordered a couple other brands of boots in my normal 8 1/2 size and both are a little loose and clunky. I hate take a star off these very sharp looking boots, but the hard unremovable insole is the sole reason. These are fantastic boots.
