Raspberry pi 4 boot drive
If you want to use it as a usb boot SSD for your raspberry pi then it will give you trouble, it's not getting enough power via USB port on RPI4..you need to supply it with external power, with the external power it works flawlessly..110 MB upload and download speeds.It works perfectly with desktops without the need of an external power source.Highly recommend if you don't mind the external power source.Bear on mind that raspberry idle/busy power consumption is 2.9/6.8 watt.And the SSD connected via USB consumes another 1.4/ 4.5 watts

It's working perfectly with 2.5 SATA HDD. For 3.5 SATA HDD (Desktop Size HDD) It will require additional 12 DC adapter which is not included. The speed of transfer is great. The build material is very decent.

Not for Cloning
Bought this product to clone my PC hard drive to the Samsung SSD I had bought using Samsung’s Data Migration software. Unfortunately when plugged into the USB port it came up as UGREEN and not Samsung, therefore making cloning impossible. Tried using AOMEI software, but the connection in Win 10 kept switching between USB/UGREEN, so no luck. If it would register the drive attached to it instead of as UGREEN, life would have been simple. If you want to attach an external HDD/SSD, for data purposes it works fine. Eventually opened up my computer, plugged the Samsung SSD into the SATA cable, cloning done in 30 minutes including OS. So this product did not serve my purpose, but at least I can attach my old HDDs to the UGREEN for backups.
