As others said, these are very light weight but they do hold a soft boiled egg. I wish they were just a little more substantial in weight.

When I received these I did not examine or look at them right away. These were going to be a gift, but when I did look at them, they were not straight on their little stand. Very disappointed because I wanted to give them as a gift. Would not buy these again.

These egg cups are right for me. They are easy to clean, non breakable and they hold a large egg. There is a little extra room to accommodate an extra-large egg. If you eat small eggs you will have even more room around the egg but I think it would still stand up just fine. I've had no issue with the cup being hot to the touch as was mentioned in another posting.

The whole point is to put the boiled egg in something to safely crack the top and remove the egg, but this thin stainless holder gets as hot as the egg.

I ordered this to hold my hot eggs so I don't burn my hands. Easy to slice off the top while in the holder. Because it is metal, it does heat up but if you hold it from the bottom, it's fine. Well worth the price.

How hard can it be to produce an egg cup? Yes, it is stainless steel so it can't break and it looks ok. But it is simply unusable because the cup is too large for the egg to fit. The egg falls down to the bottom of the cup and makes it too hard to eat from. You can't use your fingers to stop the egg from spinning when using a spoon.
