This does have both flavor and scent and is fine for flavoring foods and making scented candles or makeup. The seller should fix any mistakes in this listing that can be confusing. What I can tell you, is not to bother putting your finger at the top of the bottle and tasting just a little bit too check. THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH. It ends up blocking your taste buds wherever it touches. Dilute it in a cup of water, perhaps at 4 drops per cup, then try again.

Perfect for what I needed, no strange aftertaste when added to lip balm, smells great, not overpowering, and blends well.

The favoring extracts come in a great variety of flavors and are flavorful. A few drops can transform plain buttercream frosting into a burst of blueberry flavor. The extracts are versatile the way they have a variety of uses such as to flavor ice cream, etc.The extracts come in small glass bottles which is useful for storing a variety of flavors. The assembly of an extract bottle with the dropper was simple. Assembly involved inserting the provided glass dropper into the bottle’s squeezable cove. This made adding one drop at a time controlled.The overall quality of the extracts is good not quite great. Some of the flavors tasted artificial but were effective at enhancing flavor. The flavoring smell aligned with the taste. Ensuring the right quantity of drops used is important for optional performance as too little will lack flavor and too much will be overpowering.Overall, the food extracts perform well and are a good value for the variety of flavors available for the price.

Very small bottles but works great.

The packaging was good. There were no leaks or broken bottles/droppers in my case luckily. My only complaint is that the flavoring oils at least what I have discovered is that they do not taste like what it's supposed to. I have found that you have to add sweeteners to actually make is taste like the flavor. The scent is strong, but there is no taste unless you add sugar or some other flavor enhancer. I intend on using these for my lip gloss business and I want my glosses to both smell and taste like the flavoring. so far I have made pineapple, watermelon and a blueberry lip gloss with these oils and they taste like nothing. Not even a hint of flavor. I am also going to be making lip scrubs so what I did was add the oils to some sugar and it was only then I was able to taste anything. I think these are best for cooking and making drinks and stuff with. I am not sure how I feel about these oils 100% yet. They have potential, but they lack flavor without sugar. If you are selling lip glosses online I would mark on your listings that they are only scented, not flavored. I am pretty sure I added enough drops to each batch. My least favorite was the green tea flavor. The chocolate smells really really good! I will have to find some different oils for now. I am not sure if it's just me or maybe I need to change my lip gloss formula, but I'll experiment and update this review accordingly. These offer a really nice variety of solid colors. The oil base makes them perfect for buttercream. A little bit goes a long way, too.

We purchased these to use with a hair product our company has developed. It took more than expected to get the desired fragrance but it was competing with oregano so I wasn’t surprised. When we finally got the ratios together mixture was awesome. To date, we’ve used strawberry and chocolate. Unfortunately, blueberry smells medicinal yet we haven’t added it to a product. I have no doubt it will be as lovely as strawberry and chocolate.

This product overall is well packaged, smells decent, and has recognizable flavor. But unfortunately, that's where the good ends and the strange begins.I tried the oils in water as another reviewer had said to taste them initially and I agree, the flavor / smell is very overwhelming if applied directly to your mouth. That said, the taste was a bit off, but I chalked that up to the water and lack of sugar. So I decided to make gummy bears with them. I used a recipe that is highly reviewed, and the unflavored gummies before mixing in this product were the perfect balance of sweet and sour. But as soon as I added the flavoring to them, they began to have a strong chemical undertone. Even just smelling them while mixing I began to get a bit of a headache. I thought it might just have been the problem with it being warm, so I waited for the gummies to cool and alas, the flavor just tastes too artificial to be any good. It doesn't help that the smell continues to make my head ache and stomach too after eating them.So while they're likely great for anyone making a product that isn't meant to be fully consumed (lip gloss, etc), I highly recommend against purchasing this specific product for making any sort of candy. Maybe baking it would help off gas whatever is making it taste so strongly of chemicals, but I'm not planning to attempt that myself.
