Easy and simple
We replaced an old thermostat where we had to connect the wires around the screws. This one you just stick em through the hole. Very easy to connect.

This does what it says.Read the whole list of setup options and install yourself with confidence.I bought for the AUTO mode. This is not a default mode. You have to configure it through the menus.Set a heat temp separately. Permanent holdSet a cool temp separately. Permanent holdSet to ATUO mode, and it will switch between modes as you go over/under your set temps by a degree or two.has two mounting options, I used the bigger plate as I was installing in place of a larger older unit.Once setup, walk away and forget it!

Must be installed by professional to validate warranty
Came recommended by AC company, because the previous thermostats died. However the Honeywell company offers a warranty ONLY if installed by a licensed professional, which I found out by speaking with Honeywell.I had asked the seller about a warranty because Amazon often sells warranties with other products. They did not know.So word of advice. Save the box, and all receipts to send into Honeywell. Another thing the product box includes the cover mounting plate. And that is not listed on the seller’s website nor shown in photos, (I did not watch the videos). Mounting plate shown in my photo.Recommended by Amazon to buy cover mounting plate which I did based on the recommendation. They were returned.As far as the product, time will tell. Fingers crossed.
