Sucks in a good way!
Works great! I use this in my salon and it really does make clean to easier! It is a little noisy when it's activated but no different than a blow dryer! I would buy again!

Works great!!
Itβs a tad loud, but very powerful! Picks up all the dirt and dust with ease. The canister holds a lot. Itβs slim so it fits up against the cabinet and doesnβt take up much room.

What took me so long?!
This is the greatest thing ever! Definitely the smartest home appliance purchase that I have made in a long time.I have a Robo-Vac and it works fine, worked fine, until my dog peed on it. The robotic vacs are expensive and then there are the add-ons. Don't get me started, just suggesting that you look long and hard before making that purchase. The Eye-Vac is awesome. My cat and dog keep my hardwoods so furred-up that I think I still have carpet sometimes. The ever present fur clouds demand constant sweeping, pulling it off the broom and scooping it up and pulling the fur off the broom again. Arghhh! Now, I just sweep it up to the Eye-Vac and poof, it's gone, broom cleaned and I'm done. A huuuge advantage is that my husband is old and can't bend to manage the dust pan business. With the Eye-Vac he can easily sweep up to the vac and poof, gone and done. Now, I don't have to do it all the time.I have several different levels in my house so . . . Yeah, there's that problem. The Eye-Vac is light enough to lift easily from den to kitchen and that works for me because I don't have to unplug it and plug it into another outlet.Even so, I'm getting a second Eye-Vac for the kitchen because it is worth it and at $102, not a problem. I see that it has gone back up in price, so I'll wait or maybe get a less expensive version. Before I purchased at Amazon, I price shopped extensively and the price is the same everywhere, but when the price went down, it was only at Amazon (and only in black, the white one was still full price). Bed Bath & Beyond offers 20% coupons for store stuff but in TN with 10% (9.758) sales tax, the coupon is pointless after you go get it across town, etc. Amazon Prime is free shipping, quick and I don't have to do my hair to leave the house. I'll wait for Amazon to drop the price again or see about another version.I can't believe that I waited so long for such a great appliance! My daughter was considering the purchase too. I spoke to my son-in-law after using mine and he ordered it while we were on the phone. Yes, you have to get this and I would call it a mandatory senior person appliance. Since Mother's Day is almost here, let me scream that no mother wants a danged appliance for Mother's Day/her birthday/Christmas or any gifting day. So, get this for the house, but definitely not as a special day gift. Maybe give her flowers and then give her the Eye-Vac.

Very useful, but cheaply made (see details). Conditionally Recommended
I got my wife an EyeVac PRO Touchless Stationary Vacuum (Tuxedo Black) to use in her hair suite at her salon. She needs to clean up her work area between clients, and the EyeVac was meant to work in conjunction with her broom - hopefully eliminating the need to use a dustpan. The EyeVac arrives adequately protected in its shipping box (there is no inner retail box). Installation/setup is as straightforward as removing some plastic wrap, plugging in the unit, and selecting an operating mode. I put the mode selector in "auto", which enables the IR "eye" on/off switch. We have found that it's easiest to get the unit to come on using a foot to trip the sensor. The vacuum was a little louder than I expected, but I think that's largely attributable to using it along a wall (or two walls, in my case, as it's in use at a corner of the room). The suction power is pretty good, and the dust container is easy to remove, empty, and replace. This unit is the next best thing to having your space equipped with a baseboard vacuum system (and much less expensive). The construction and mechanism are reminiscent of a handheld vacuum. Unfortunately, while the unit is user serviceable, it's not made in a way that makes this convenient. In my case, it's going to be the difference between my wife being able to keep the unit properly maintained, and me having to do it. That's not great from a design engineering standpoint, unless this is designed to be a throwaway item. I set a calendar event to take this apart in 6 months, and I expect that's going to be the best interval for my wife's usage. The branding is kind of tacky, and I've already spoken with my wife about maybe covering it with something off of her Cricut. I know her, so I know that she will just get more irritated that an appliance that's supposed to blend in with the decor has what looks like NASCAR branding on it. Eww.As value is largely derived from benefit divided by cost (or a more complex, but largely similar, formula) it's a fair question to ask about the EyeVac. Considering that it's wall-powered and stationary, I'd say that this device benefits from low requirements, without passing the savings along to the consumer in the price. The main thing to keep in mind is that this is a niche product, and it's normal for those to have higher profit margins. That said, I wish EyeVac had created a higher-end product to top their line - designed around easy serviceability and a 10-15 year life. I would have gladly paid double (or more) for something like that. As it is, the EyeVac is a specialized product... while it's cheaply made, careful maintenance will probably make it last 5 or more years. Recommended

Easy to use - Very handy
We have been wanting to try this for a very long time. We have a lot of animals in our house and a quick vacuum system is just what we wanted. My hairstylist has the salon (regular) version and I love it. This is easy to use, easy to empty. I would suggest if you have animals are small kids that you not leave it on auto as it will go off (as it should) when prompted by little fingers or animals toys or tails. They are not going to get sucked up at all, but it is loud and if you are not expecting it , startling.
