As someone who suffers from dry hands and eczema/psoriasis type issues regularly, this hand salve has been a true lifesaver.On top of being predisposition to eczema/skin conditions, I travel for a living and we all know that that airplanes seem to suck all the moisture from our skin.I'm currently on my second tube of this, and I don't know that I'll ever buy anything else for my hands. This formula is luxurious, creamy, thick, and highly effective. A little goes a long way, so it's also worth the price point.Because of my skin type/conditions, I feel like it absorbs easily, but I could see that this would be a little greasy for some people or maybe just too thick/uncomfortable.If you have every used CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, you'll understand when I say that it does dry down with that filmy layer, and if that bothers you, maybe skip because you'll notice it. For me, that's great, because it's like an extra layer of protection.. and I only really notice it when I go to wash my hands and there's that filmy layer that acts like a barrier.Never going anywhere without this in my bag again. It's mostly for my hands, but it's great for elbows/knees/feet too!

If you have dry, cracked hands, you absolutely need to try this. This is the best handcream I have ever used. The only possible negative comment I can think of is the eucalyptus smell is a bit strong, but the pros completely weigh out the one con. It isn’t greasy at all and is fast acting. I’ve tried BBW, Caudalie, and many others and they all fall short! It’s worth the price and you don’t need much at all so it will last for a long time!

This WORKS!! Between New England winters, dry heat and knitting constantly, my hands get so dry they flake and hurt. I've tried so many hand creams. They worked for maybe five minutes and then it was as if I'd never used anything.Kiehl's is amazing! Not only do my hands feel wonderful when I put it on, but it lasts. My hands aren't flaking/hurting. I love this!!!

My hands are sensitive to frequent hand washing and cold weather, so I have tried many creams, salves and lotions through the years. Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is the only brand I have used that protects my hands from drying and cracking under the worst conditions. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue like so many brands do. A little bit goes a long way, so a tube lasts a long time. The lotion version doesn’t work as well for me as the salve, but I may be using too much of it, making it feel a little sticky.

It's nice. It works. It's good. The feeling is non-greasy and absorbs relatively quickly. The smell is slightly medicinal in a positive, it's doing something, manner. It is, however, overpriced. It's not just expensive; many things are expensive and hold great value. This stuff is simply expensive. The price and the value do not correspond adequately.
