Awesome
Bought this to dress up for a fundraising children's disco and it didn't disappoint. I'd read previous reviews claiming it stains when washed off and saw the tip to use a white base first...After a good shower last night I was fully expecting to still be a bit green this morning, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the white base worked... On my face at least, my fingers are a little bit green around the nails from application so I recommend wearing gloves for putting it on.I found dampening the paint and letting it sit for a minute to absorb the water best, I also recommend decent brushes or sponge over the small round sponges of the same brand as they're a bit too porous and doesn't give a smooth application. For a first attempt I was really happy though. It does feel quite dry on the skin though and by the end of the day I couldn't wait to remove it, it's like a face mask that dries and tightens, only without the beauty benefits ha!Definitely recommend though, it worked well, looked good and freaked out enough kids to make it worthwhile!

It's Grinch!
There was a virtual Christmas jumper competition at work and I don't own a Christmas jumper so in a rare bout of lockdown camaraderie I decided to paint myself Grinch instead.I bought the lime one and it's green, it's really, really green!I've never used face paint before and wasn't entirely sure what I was doing. I tried with just a damp sponge initially but it didn't apply well so I softened the pot itself by passing it under the hot tap briefly and continued to apply with the damp sponge - that worked a treat.I did two layers, let it dry between layers and found out dabbing it on was better than wiping it on else it just wipes itself off. I've got loads left too, it looks barely touched.Getting it off was tougher. I scrubbed at it, exfoliated, used a cleanser and it all looked fine until went into daylight and noticed a decidedly yellow tinge to my skin. That took another scrubbing and a further day or so for stain to go.Behold the face than won the Christmas Jumper comp without owning a Christmas jumper 😂Would I buy it again? Yes. Video calls are so much more fun when you're green.

It stains !
I only got as far as putting on my neck before I realised it had stained my hands. This picture is taken 3 days after and it still will not come off - even with scouring products! Thank goodness I never got as far as painting my face!
