Update fixed the call issue
Just a warning to Samsung Galaxy users, it seems that a July security update is messing up some peoples phones.Review update:An August Security patch fixed it. The phone was unable to receive calls for a month but it is working as intended now.I switched review back to 5 stars since people buying the phone now won't have that issue, but personally I've already replaced it with a Pixel since both TMobile and Samsung offer no real solution during that time.

Im in love.
I love this phone. Brand new! Ive bought several phones on Amazon. All claimed to be new. But it was clear it was used. But this seller, did good by me. Vow to never purchase another phone on amazon. then this beauty was made. 256GB, 8GB of storage, power and beauty for less than $1000. Wish i had waited for the price to drop. its now $514, from $520. nonetheless. best phone ive ever had. never going back to iphone. Its also bigger than i expected(that's what she said :) )

I'd say pretty good phone.
I got it last Wednesday. So far have it for a week. I'd say pretty good phone. I was afraid to buy an international version. Works well with T mobile. Had no issues. Overall I am satisfied for now :) not returning it back. Did not test face recognition.

No es el móvil descrito
No es el Samsung descrito porque no es Dual SIM y no es nada resistente al agua. Las descripciones deben ser correctas

A very good shopping experience
The phone was exactly as described by the seller. I like it very much! The battery is also very durable, I only used it for a few calls in the first week and it still had half the charge for a week on standby. There is also a case in the box that is clear and fits just right over the phone. The quality is much better than what I would have bought separately.

Perfect balance between price and performance
If you're looking for a cool, high-performance phone, but don't want to spend $1000+ in it, this phone is the perfect choice.

Generally good phone to use, esp for this price point
After a lot of searching and umming and ahhing after I decided to ditch my cheap Samsung a12 (can read my review from my profile if you like), I decided to get the 256gb A72. I've been using it for 6 or 7 months and am happy I bought it.The things I considered when choosing were:- 4G or 5G?- 128 or 256GB memory?- can it accept micro SD card?- can it accept headphones with cables?- large battery at least 5000mah?- not from ChinaOther desirable likes were:- waterproof- zoom lens cameras- dual sim- low priceI'd eventually narrowed it down to ASUS Zenfone 6,7,8 flip, Samsung a52 and a72. If I had enough free cashflow, I'd have loved to by and try the Zenfone 7, but it was pricier, wasn't waterproof, and service was unknown, so I got the A72, and I'm quite happy with it. I was send a random colour (part of the lower price was not choosing the colour) and got a beautiful white. It looked very high class, and it's still emaculate, thanks to a clear plastic protective cover I bought. In case you've been thinking about the little details, I'll explain why I chose what I chose.- 256gb memory. The a12 I bought had 128gb, as did the SD card. I thought it'd be enough, and it was. But I found I still needed to keep an eye out on my memory, as it was easy to start filling it up, with photos, videos, and downloads. Now I have a 256gb phone memory, 256gb sd card as well. I feel I can go overseas and take a gazillion photos and videos, without worrying about needing to delete stuff to make space.- 4G vs 5G. Well, 5G is coming. But last year, and even now, 4G is going to be around for quite a few years, while 5G is still being rolled out. I asked my friends who had 5G phones if they noticed any difference too. They said that while there was a difference, 5G wasn't everywhere, and they have the same data plan limitations everyone else does, so they use free wifi from shopping centres, cafes etc whenever they can. 5G doesn't matter there either.- 5000mah. Always, always go for a bigger battery where possible. Tbh, this 5000mah battery doesnt seem to last quite as long as the one from Samsung A12, or the Moto phone I has before that. The biggest annoyance is that you can't get zerolemon batteries to connect to the a72.- zoom lens. Mmmmm, zoom lens. I used to have the Samsung S4 and Z, which had x10 zooms. So I love zooms. But these days, getting big zoom means big money, so a72 is ok, for now. I hope there's trickle down of zoom camera phones .- waterproof. It is so reassuring being able to take the phone anywhere during normal life and not worry about splash/water damage. In fact, I even take my phone into the shower to listen to either music, or videos (usually informative ones, since I can't really see the visual parts much). It's very convenient.- cabled headphones. The a72 box did not include headphones, but the A12 did, and they're quite decent so I use those ones. Sure there's a cable, but no need to wait for connections, worrying about battery life. Just plug and play. Imagine you're on a flight/train and it's at least 8 hours. Youre watching videos on your phone. Why increase battery drain using bluetooth, and why be a victim of 3 hour bluetooth headphones?Any cons? Yes.- This fingerprint reader within the lower part of the screen really sucks. Every dedicated fingerprint sensor on a phone is superior to this-only works half the time and I end up typing the passcode into thephone several times a week. Big step backwards.- Samsung Bloatware. UrghhhOtherwise, Im quite happy with it :)
