I buy cheap bike bag regularly as single use items for flights to bike touring destinations (I give the bag to a bike shop employee on arrival rather than carry it for a month). This one is by a good measure the most robust and of the bunch and has much better zippers than the others. It weighs about 50% more than the competition and is a thicker fabric and a little bigger overall too. This one I could see buying and getting a fair bit of use out of. Many others couldn't be expected to last more than 2 or 3 trips.

I bought two of these to ship our bikes to Maui from the mainland. We had to remove the wheels and pedals on both bikes and pack padding everywhere but they worked great! Easy to carry, nothing ripped or tore, highly recommend for anyone looking to get their bike on a commercial flight.

This zippered liner is an easy way to store your mountain bike (29-inch Epic Specialized -Small). I do not recommend the use of transport by plane or cargo. It is going to protect the bike from dust and rain, but it is not protection beyond the basic. if it should come with a holder for the fork. I had to improvise one. In general, if you add foam protection to all the areas that are going to be exposed to shock, it will work very well. The lining has its case, where you can put pedals and the saddle, and tools. The front wheel is inserted into the internal side pocket.

This bag does a good job holding a 29inch mountain bike and some extra padding. I used a lot of cardboard zip tied to the pointy bits and the only damage I received was a minorly warped rear brake rotor.However there are already rips and tears in the bag and not even on the seams where it would be easy to repair, but in the middle of the canvas sidding.I wish it was more durable, because it did a great job helping me avoid the 50 lb weight limit for bikes.
