Coastal color; perfect fruit bowl!
This works perfect in my kitchen as a small fruit bowl. The mango wood has natural variations of brown, beige, tan, gray, yellow and occasional pink. The odd yellow and pink only stand out if you look closely. The ribbed style adds texture, but doesn't look busy. The mango wood is very hard/durable, similar to oak hardness.The size easily fits up to 8 granny smith apples. The Gresorth artificial apples are a perfect realistic filler. (See pics.)CARE TIP - AVOID CRACKING: If mango wood dries out too much, it will crack. Wipe down gently with an appropriate cutting board oil (almond oil, avocado oil, food grade mineral oil, etc.) REGULARLY and after any washing to ensure the wood is sealed and adequately conditioned.NOTE: If you're looking to match wood species, dried out acacia wood often looks very similar to mango wood. (Oiled acacia wood is much darker with more red/orange tones.)Overall, the style and durability is perfect. Although it is pricy for a small bowl, I still highly recommend!

Lovely Bowl
This is such a lovely decorative bowl. I was given one as a housewarming gift and I just bought this one because it is so nice and I wanted another. I have it on my sideboard table. The wood tone is a beautiful color and the being footed makes it very expensive looking.

Arrived with a small crack.
Repaired it myself because it didn't affect function and I'm not much for aesthetics.Sturdy and stable. Capacity is somewhat less than i figured but that's on meSo, four stars

How cute is this bowl?
First of all, I love the size of the bowl. It’s just the right size for my kitchen island. I love the color of the wood. It’s so natural looking, but it’s sturdy enough to hold a whole bunch of fruit in it. The quality is really good on it and it holds everything that I would like it to. I would highly recommend this bowl because it’s just so beautiful.

SO disappointing!!!
Tried twice to make this work! The first bowl arrived gauged up and discolored. I know they are each handmade & to look for a variety in arrivals; however, no matter which way I turned this, there was a piece, chunk, slice out of the wood that anyone would see. Secondly, the stain wasn’t consistent. The real issue was the packaging. It arrived upside down shoved into a box much smaller than it should have been so it was bursting through the taped box. I returned it and tried again.To my dismay, the second one was wayyyy worse than the first! The carving is beautiful, and you can really see how beautiful it could be. I just don’t like the inconsistency & the marks that look like errors-not part of a beautiful design aesthetic. Returned the second one, too. :(
