Perfect for my Nikon D3000
I've tested it with my Nikkor 18-105 AF-S G lense and it works great. It automatically doubles the focal distance (18mm is magnified to 36mm and 105 to 210mm), but the only issue is that the amount of light it enters is also decreased to its half, e.g. F4 is converted to F8, F5.6 to F11, etc. However, the results are excellent, because the auto focus remains working with my Nikon lense, and it even allows me to install a manual Jintu 420-800mm manual lense I bought recently (T mount).

Watch your stops and remember this is not a lens so it dose not act like one. If you can't afford the bigger lens for your kit this is the best answer.
