After trying many other major name brands and failing I decided to give this one a try. It was a bit spendy but price was not a concern for me. You get what you pay for. This stuff actually worked, after 1 treatment! However I am following directions and continuing treatment. I treated her hair, kept her sheets changed, and stacked her stuffed animals in the closet and she hasn't gone near them. I didn't have to go all crazy bagging up the house and vacuuming, I just followed the instructions and it worked. Its a thicker product, but spreads throughout the scalp easily. I just followed the instructions, parted out the hair with the provided clips, followed directions for putting the product in the hair, used the blue comb to brush it throughout, and then the metal fine tooth comb after the product was in. It was kind of hard to rinse out, my 12 year old wanted to do it herself as shes getting shy, I wish she would have let me help her rinse it out. It has an oily texture so hot water, and maybe some dawn dish soap would be best to get it out, however I just let her sleep with the oily hair and it washed out after her next shower. I think the fact that its thicker and oily is what is actually killing them. Other products seemed watery but they washed out super easy. My daughters hair is THICK and CURLY. I wish I would have found this stuff before hacking off her long hair. Before when I tried other products and they didn't work, I broke down and cut her hair. It was down past her butt and I hacked it up to her shoulders :'( She eventually liked it, but it was a big deal for us. Had I used this product first, I might have been able to get rid of the lice and keep her long hair. Her hair grows fast so I am not to worried, but I am impressed how well this worked in her thick curly hair. Other major brands I had to use 2 bottles to cover her roots, not even saturating all of her hair, just focusing on the roots. This product supplied PLENTY and a little went a long way. When I massaged it into her scalp, the heat between her head and my hands helped it spread super easy. It made combing a lot easier, the metal comb goes right through the hair, no pulling. I hope that we will never battle head lice again, its one of my biggest fears being as we both have thick curly hair and its a pain, however if we do this will be my go to. I am going to order another box just to keep on hand for emergencies! I love that it contains everything you need including some great instructions. HIGHLY recommend! If you've ever done the lice battle before or this is your first time, you wont regret this purchase! Skip all the other major brands and go straight for this one.

So I came back just to review and I got this lice treatment in 2022! Not only does a little go a long way, but it works!! I've tried many other products for my daughter (and myself), and nothing compares. They literally fall out (some dead, some alive) I apply it and shake her hair out and there they go jumping to their death if not already dead. Yes, it's gross but at least you're not having to dig em all out. Unfortunately, they've returned (elementary school unavoidables), and I still have the same bottle that I've used several times on both our heads! I apply it and let it sit several hours (even overnight unsure if that's recommended though), and by the time I search they're dead/flattened/unpopable. Best thing, a little goes a long way and it works especially if basic products do nothing but make super lice laugh at your attempts to eradicate them. Just get it, you won't regret it! Oh and my 1st bottle came a little damaged and leaked some and they had no problem immediately replacing it.

After one complete treatment, so far we have not seen anything. The box says to treat 3 times with 5 days in between. We just did the second treatment and haven’t seen one nit or bug. The only drawback we have seen is the last treatment leaves hair a little greasy. Difficult to wash out. But seems to work great!

Especially if you have a daughter that's a hugger and likes to share scrunchies like mine does, you NEED this to keep on hand. My daughter came home from summer camp with horrible lice; I tried EVERYTHING. In desperation i did some more research and found this product. I figured I had done everything else, I'll give it a shot. This product had the issue resolved in ONE HOUR. So easy to use, got rid of everything, plus the instructions come with tips on prevention and how to disinfect bedding etc. We repeated the process 5 days later per instructions and it's totally gone. I cannot rave about this enough. I was so frustrated; my daughter has waist length curly hair and it was a nightmare until I found this! Everyone's daughter is bound to get lice at least once if they're in school or daycare, save yourself the frustration and just buy this for when you need it. There are around 8 treatments in this kit!

Works great! Did the treatment 3 times, 5 days apart. We are confident that we are lice free! Store the extra away in case it happens again. Gosh, I hope not!
