I've used different brands over the years, and this is by far the best grinder I've used. Red and yellow do not compare to this . It seems better balanced than the rest. Highly recommend

Really great and nice grinder. Fits in small hands like mine and gave me a good grip. Powerful and very smooth motor. No vibration of any sort. I selected this version of Metabo because it is Made in Germany and the quality speaks for itself. Been cutting and grinding a lot since I got this and it can take a beating. So far so good and it keeps on grinding, cutting and motor humming along without showing any signs of issues.

I have long used these grinders at work and decided to get one I can use at home. I would recommend this grinder to anyone. It feels solid, it’s sturdy, and changing blades or wheels is super easy.

As for the grinder, blows Dewalt and Milwaukee out of the water. You feel the difference right away. So smooth yet powerful. Like finely tuned gears. No vibration because it’s so tight and stable. Sounds different too. Quieter but intense. BUT, mine was likely a repackage of some sort. The box was tattered. And there was a scuff on the grinder like it had been dropped. Wasn’t packed with anything. Just loose in a package box in inside a bigger box. For the prestige of a premium tool I expected more care. This was my entry test into switching all my power tools to Metabo(German) tools. Now I am very hesitant. And shopping others like Festool, Fein, Milwaukee, etc.

The angle grinder is weighted well. Its easy to hold even in awkward positions. Powerful and doesn’t bind if you use consistent pressure on the work. Easy to change out wheels

This is my second metabo grinder I’ve purchased. I bought the first (older model) about 20 years ago and besides replacing the brushes and switch, it’s still going. The new one was a spontaneous purchase because the price was awesome. Now having two, I won’t have to switch wheels as often when doing a lot of cutting & grinding. The new one is a bit heavier than the old one but so far it isn’t an issue. I have good luck with this brand (and I am not easy on them) so I’m hoping it hold up as well as my first one.

This is a powerful and smooth angle grinder and I'd absolutely give it 5 stars except for one glaring problem:The side handle can't be attached perpendicular to the wheel. There's no straight forward way to make a vertical cut with this thing. I'm going to epoxy a nut onto the body of the grinder that I can screw the handle into, but I'm flabbergasted that such an essential feature is missing.
