Perfect Solution for Fishing on the Go!
I couldn’t be happier with the Raynesys Vehicle Fishing Rod Holder! This thing is a total game-changer for any angler who’s tired of trying to cram rods into awkward spots or risking damage during transport. Installation was super straightforward — it took me less than 10 minutes to get it set up in my SUV. The adjustable length (30-54 inches) made it easy to get a snug fit, and the straps feel extremely sturdy and secure.

Great for transporting poles
This is perfect for transporting fishing poles without them getting damaged in the car. Fits nicely along the roof of the car. Can hold several poles at once and keeps them out of the way of people or other storage items in the car. Also keeps them from jostling around while you are driving. Built well and is very functional. Highly recommend.

Good quality product but….
The quality of the materials is really good and as far as it’s overall functionality it’s very good. I’m happy with my purchase. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because I discovered a potential glitch depending on the vehicle you have and the length of the rods you are using. My rods are all 7ft or 7 1/2 ft, single piece rods and I’m driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue SUV (standard mid-sized SUV). I discovered that the handles located on the interior of my cab (rear seat and front seat areas) are too close together to allow the reels to ride in the back (cargo) area of the car once they are strapped in. The reels sit too far from the rear strap and sag very low into the cargo area putting very bad stress on the front tips of the rods. That being said, I discovered a work around by loading the rod/reels from front to back with the reels suspended in the front of the cab. It actually works surprisingly well! The straps are solid enough to keep the reels up high so that they don’t really have a negative effect on your view of the road etc. Seems to work with 3 rod/reels located on the middle three loop straps. A 4th or 5th reel might be a bit of a nuisance for the driver and/or passenger. A single driver could shift the entire assembly to the right side of the vehicle pretty easily and perhaps carry 4 or 5 rod/reel combos without much hassle. Note: loading them in this manner is a bit of a hassle and I’d recommend leaving the rods unrigged so that you don’t have line running from the reel up through the hook and loop fasteners. Trust me, that doesn’t work well! So you’ll need to rig your hooks/lures once you get to your destination. I hope this helps!

Check your car before you buy
Make sure you have garment hooks in both rows or in your back cargo area.. I bought it and couldn't hook both straps up in a 2022 Voyager. Also this isn't made to handle heavy duty rods such as my Penn battalion heavy. The tip goes through the hole but not very close to handle

Good alternative to roof racks!
Good alternative to roof racks! I set this up under the canopy bed topper on my truck. Holds my 2 piece surfcasting rods perfectly. The velcro straps are adjustable to whatever width you need. Each rod holder has its own velcro strap as well, with padding to not scratch the rods. great, cheap alternative.

Car rod holder
It does not hold the fishing rod up high enough and out of the way . As it remains in view while you are driving.
