I have a 1998 car that still has ashtrays and no cupholders - and the curved cover of the passenger airbag where older cars had a flat shelf, so nowhere to put a drink down. I initially bought this so I could stand a drink from a take-away in it while driving home. But, perhaps oddly, my 95 year old mother has become very fond of me taking her to a Greggs in a petrol station (her idea, not mine) to then eat in the car parked outside on a Saturday, and this holder is both great for carrying the coffees and food from the counter to the car (the one time I forgot it and used a tray instead, I managed to spill half a latte down the front of my shirt getting into the car), and happens to sit exactly and securely between the two of its feet at the back on the front corners of the seats and the slot at the front round the gear selector. Can't sit it there when driving, but parked it gives me four secure cup-holders - great. Also, every time I put it on the counter in the Greggs, the staff and the other customers always admire it and wish they had one!

Use this on the passenger side floor of my car when I am doing a coffee run. never tipped over on me but I wouldn't like to test it to the limits as the sides are straight and would probably be better if they were angled outwards at the bottom. Still, better than having multiple loose cups of coffee surrounded by make-shift stuff holding them in place.

I was hesitant to buy at first as I thought it was expensive for a piece of plastic.But now after my husband and I have been using it almost every day to take morning tea ,biscuits & meds, upstairs or outside with ease, I'm so glad I did. 😊. It's brilliant 👏. Easy to clean too!Thank you!

Like - don't spill drinks when carrying multiple mugs/mugs +milk, sugar, biscuits for visitors and tradespeople. Less risk of items getting mislaid/broke when getting work done on house and garden. (My fencing contractor got one as a gift for his van as he found it so useful). Washes up a treat in dishwasher. Also nice and stable for older people carrying one or more items around (Muggi #3 bought for a relative). Pleased to see Marine plastic option..Dislike - price is a little steep but they are sometimes discounted and are guaranteed for 88 years (!) so not too big a deal. Look on it as an investment against spilt drinks, stained carpets and lost/borrowed mugs.
