These are very silky in texture. We otherwise have 1000 thread count bed linen. And we prefer the Bamboo to be honest. They are also far less work. They were lovely during the heat of this summer and really comfortable now it’s getting colder. Hope this helps.

Q: Can they be tumble dried without damage ?

I don’t and don’t advise it, if you want to maintain and improve your bedding. Bamboo loves cold water and if you tumble dry it, you will damage the bamboo fibres. Just line dry them, or use cold air to dry them. I’ve became totally hooked on bamboo beddings and my best set is the oldest one, with my not-so-good set always being the last one I buy. Cold water, non-bio, no fabric softener and no abrasive washing pods and I assure you your beddings will become softer and softer, with a cooling effect I so much need. Just make sure the viscose is made with the pulp of the bamboo, using a mechanical method and enzymes, similar to the manufacture of linen, and never go for Rayon, made with the celulose and a highly polluting chemical process to break down the cellulose. Bamboo rayon is like any other rayon and often sold as 100% bamboo, at a premium for a semi-synthetic fabric that is made at the expense of the workers’ health, as the chemicals are used during the manufacturing process. I bought a set once, very expensive and I realised it was rayon. I only sent an email saying I’d expose the company and immediately got a full refund and kept the bedding. Donated it, as it’s ok for anyone that doesn’t need cooling bedding, but NOT advertise it as a premium bamboo

I have bamboo sheets and they stay wonderfully soft. But don't get them too hot, either line-drying (this was in very hot weather in France) or in the tumble drier, as this will make them go stiff, and it takes a long time for them to get soft again, and they're never the same. Otherwise, wonderful.
