Perfect fit 1994 Ranger 4x4 4.0
So far so good. Swapped trans in my 94 4.0 ranger and this was an exact fit. Super easy install, 2 bolts. Before I couldn't get the line to release from the old one. Tried all the tricks from YouTube and it just wouldn't let go. So I just cut the arm off of the under-paid employee cylinder so I could get the trans out.Ended up using a hose clamp, cut the tail so it was nearly a perfect fit, on the to slide the releasing sleeve into the fitting. Used some pliers to get a good amount of force. Combined with needle nose pliers I was able to release the clutch line.Unbolt and rebolt bolt are extremely simple.Sealing mechanism seems legit. I'll update if anything fails

Smooth as silk with the clutch engagement
I used this on my 1995 Ford Ranger "mini" with 2.3 liter 5 speed. Before the throwout bearing would make a squeal sound and it was hard to shift it.Because I had to take the transmission and separate it from the engine I replaced the throat bearing at the same time I did the clutch.I also replaced the clutch hose and the master cylinder so it would all be new All I can say is I used quality parts and I am absolutely happy with the engagement and disengagement of the clutch hydraulics. For the record this has the original style quick release hose fitting that once your hose has 100,000 plus miles on it it's next to impossible to get off of the original so keep that in mind as you may need a new clutch hose because you may destroy the old one getting it off.At any rate I was happy with my purchase and it was worth the extra couple of dollars for a better quality one

Best Bet
I purchased another brand that I will not mention and it was new in the box and as I was about to install it the thing came apart in my bare hands, missing parts ect. unbelievable but I tried to save a little money, so I returned it, I did some reviews research and bought this one and it’s night and day, the quality is superb and heavy duty everything, better than OEM, folks it’s a REALLY BIG JOB swapping it out trust me, do yourself a huge favor and don’t skimp on transmission parts because the worst thing would be a failure miles from home ✌️kudos to Luk

Truly cheaply made junk.
Please listen to me and all the others.. this junk barely lasts a year. 12k miles on this clutch and this brand new slave cylinder has gone bad. Now I have a truck just sitting in the yard because I'm not in a position to drop the transmission and change the slave cylinder because of Ford's stupid design. Spend a little more on a quality part or you'll probably going to regret it. Please buy a quality part.

Working just fine in my 1997 Ford Ranger
I installed this in my 1997 Ford Ranger when I replaced the clutch. If you have to replace the clutch, might as well do the slave cylinder as well. After three months it is still working just fine. I recommend searching the web for tips on how to easily bleed the hydraulic line. There's an easy way and a hard way.
