Replacements for a 10 amp automotive rectifier
Bought 2 of these to replace two very similar power diodes that had failed in my old dated battery charger!Also added and inline circuit breaker to provide a safety level to prevent failure of these new diodes! All is well! Charger, again works great!

A full-wave rectifier configuration.
The diodes are configured in a full-wave rectifier. The diodes are working at low currents. So far so good. The higher currents around 85 to 90 amperes will be encountered later.Sincerely,RON

The diode had a long lead that made the install easier.

This is a anode stud diode, see pic
Was expecting a cathode stud diode based on a previous question and answer. Note, see pic, this is a anode stud diode.

HAVE NOT TESTED YET... BUT SOME COMPLAINTS
DIODE IS MASSIVE AND WELL AS THE HEAT SINK - VERY NICE. I HAVE NOT TESTED UNDER POWER YET. THE BRACKET IS TOO THIN AND CHEAP. I DOUBT IT WILL SUPPORT 200 AMPS. THE END CONNECTOR WAS NOT CRIMPED CORRECTLY AND LOOSE. I HAD TO USE MY HYDRAULIC CRIMPER TO CRIMP THE END CORRECTLY. PLASTIC TUBING USED CHEAP... ENDED UP USING MY HEATSHRINK TUBING (SEE PIC), TO PROPERLY COVER THE EXPOSED POWER LEAD. WILL UPDATE LATER ON AFTER TESTING.
