Shield Stacking Header Set Compatible with Arduino MEGA 2560(Pack of 2 Sets)

This is two sets of (cheap) stackable headers for Arduino Mega2560 shields. This set include a stackable 2x3 pin header for the ICSP port which means you can keep your ICSP port when stacking more than 1 shield and have the male pins pointing up on your shield just like on the Mega2560 board. Pins fit securely in the board and are properly offset to allow easy stacking of 2 full sized shield board.Includes two 2x36 headers, two 1x10 headers, two 2x3 (ICSP) headers and ten 1x8 headers ALL have long stackable pins.NOTE!! When soldering these onto your shield board be careful to keep the tip of your iron low and the solder lower! If you work messily your pins can get solder on them and they WILL NOT slide into the connectors on the Mega2560 until you solderwick ALL of the solder off of the pins.

Works as expected

Parts arrived in a single bag jumbled so yes pins came a little bent on a few, but nothing catastrophic. Tested on a 1.6 thick PCB, and pins where more than long enough for mega to plug in.Quality seems fine to me, and I have gone through my share of pin headers over the years. If you want a complete 2x set of Mega shield stacking headers, and nothing more, get this.4 out of five for single bag of parts vs. a box with dividers.

This is a nice set of headers that allows me to turn a generic prototyping board of any size into a shield for a Mega 2560.

I just got these in today and immediately used them for my Arduino project. I regret purchasing these. Lessons learned. As the other review said, these are cheap. And I mean CHEAP. The pins bend so easily that they can get out of alignment and take quite some time to fit into the receiving female headers of the Mega board, especially the 2x18 pins, as well as the center pin. I gave this 2 starts because at least they work, but I don't be buying them again. I didn't return them because I needed these for my project right away.Stay away from these. I would not recommend purchasing these. They're not worth the nearly $9 spent on them.

I've bought these a couple of times now and find that they are fine. I'm taking a point off for one bent pin, this time, but I can't find another source of Mega/Due headers on Amazon and these really look just fine to me. I can fix one bent pin. All the others are of uniform length, straightness, and good quality.
